It’s terrible . Does not clean dishes a waste of electricity
Response from geappliances.comBy DonGE_AppliancesOctober 30, 2025
We'd like to assist with your new dishwasher's cleaning performance. It's important that you use high quality detergents such as Cascade® Platinum™ ActionPacs™ or Finish® Quantum® Automatic Dishwashing Detergent to ensure the best detergent performance. Additionally, you'll want to make sure your dishes are being loaded properly to ensure the large dishware does not block the detergent dispenser or the wash arms. We recommend you review the "Loading" section on pages 11-15 here: https://products-salsify.geappliances.com/image/upload/s--EszXjA26--/2ee1c206fc195cd1717cedf8b41e2ab95579670c.pdf - If this doesn't prove helpful, you can find additional tips in the "Dishes and flatware not clean" section on pg. 19 of the Owner's Manual.

We'd like to assist with your dishwasher's lower rack being difficult to pull out. The most common cause of the rack being hard to remove is either a hard water mineral build-up or a build-up of detergent residue. Soap residue can cause the wheels or rack slides to start to stick so that they don't roll properly. Using a rinse agent can help minimize the build-up of detergent and hard water minerals on your dishes and on the interior of the dishwasher. Additionally, you'll want to use high quality detergents such as Cascade® Platinum™ ActionPacs™ or Finish® Quantum® Automatic Dishwashing Detergent. You can click here to find additional methods to help remove the mineral/detergent build-up in your unit: https://products.geappliances.com/appliance/gea-support-search-content?contentId=38988
If the issue continues, we recommend scheduling service with our Bodewell team by calling 1-833-426-3393 or online here: https://www.geappliances.com/ge/service-and-support/service.htm

Avoid This Model.

Washer is barely 2 years old and has died. It has limited washing cycles. Another negative is just how loud this dishwasher is compared to other models in the same price range. The controls are not intuitive and limit selections. The capacity is also on the lower side because of the tray configuration. Also had to replace a rusted out tray in the first year of use (was covered by warranty) The only positive I can think of is the power consumption, outside of the heating element it is fair where energy consumption us concerned.

Unimpressive performance. Rusted racks
on April 11, 2026

Capacity is fair.
There is only about 60% chance that everything would come out clean. Rest of the time either there’s still food stuck to the plates. Sometimes the dishwashing tablet doesn’t come out completely.
Sometimes, the plates are not dry even with boosted drying.
Over all bang in the middle average product.
Noise is not an issue.
Important to keep in mind though - I have had this dishwasher for over 2 years now, but the racks started rusty before eve a year was complete.

We are happy to provide guidance with this dishwasher's drying. You will need to ensure that the water entering the dishwasher is between 120 and 140 degrees Fahrenheit for best wash and dry performance. Run the faucet closest to the dishwasher prior to starting the dishwasher to purge cold water from the hot water line. We also recommend using a rinse aid to help with the drying of dishware, as rinse aids prevent spots on glasses and promote drying by causing water to sheet off of dishware and glassware.

We have provided some additional troubleshooting tips for poor drying in your dishwasher here: https://products.geappliances.com/appliance/gea-support-search-content?contentId=17451

Not the best

Flimsy and cheap. Honestly can't wait to replace it. Was in the home when we moved in. It doesn't stay on track and buttons on the front are hard to push. If you need a budget friendly option I guess this is fine but I would never buy this or recommend it. Cleans dishes okay.

We'd like to help out with the rack not staying in place and with the control panel being unresponsive. For the buttons, we recommend trying an electronic reset. This can be done by shutting off power at the breaker for 2-3 minutes, then powering it back on.

For the rack not aligning, we recommend checking to see if all of the roller wheels are secure and that none are bent. You will also want to check that your unit is completely level to the ground. You can view additional troubleshooting tips here: https://products.geappliances.com/appliance/gea-support-search-content?contentId=18931.

Worst dishwasher ever!

This is the very worst dishwasher I have ever owed in my 47 years of life. It doesn’t clean well and does not dry the dishes at all. Never has since day one. Black mold grows in abundance. Do not buy this model.

Machine itself is good. The dish racks in the other hand are awful. They started rusting after just a few uses.
