We'd like to assist with your dishwasher's sound level and drying performance. It's normal to hear some sounds while your dishwasher is in use. You can find information on the normal sounds and how to resolve issues with abnormal sounds here: https://products.geappliances.com/appliance/gea-support-search-content?contentId=16269.
It's important that the water entering the dishwasher is between 120°F and 140°F to ensure the best drying results. Be sure to run the faucet closest to the dishwasher prior to starting the dishwasher to purge cold water from the hot water line. Additionally, we recommend you check the rinse aid dispenser and fill it if it is empty. Rinse aids promotes drying by causing water to sheet off of dishware and glassware. You can find additional information that would help improve your dishwasher's drying performance here: https://products.geappliances.com/appliance/gea-support-search-content?contentId=17451.

Not impressed
on March 4, 2026

Not a fan. Unfortunately after the control panel went on mine this is all I could afford. Easy to hookup and was able to bring home in my car to save money. The top rack is SHORT. I can't put any tall cups in there like I can any other. It's very loud. The bottom drawer falls constantly off sides when pulling out or pushing in. Cannot change from normal wash option. Have to press the start button HARD to get it on. Cleans well tho.

It's good to hear that the dishwasher is cleaning well and the installation process was smooth. We'd like to assist with the operation of your dishwasher.

The upper rack is mainly for glasses, cups, and saucers. For best wash performance, tilt cup and glass openings toward the center of the rack. Other items such as pots, pans, and plates may be placed in the upper rack. Check out the following article for more helpful loading tips:
https://products.geappliances.com/appliance/gea-support-search-content?contentId=19573

This model has a decibel rating of 59 dBA, which is similar to the sound level of a normal conversation. However, keep in mind that the sound level can depend on the installation location, the cabinetry where it is located, the flooring, the countertop above it, what's loaded inside, and even whether the dishwasher is full of dishes or partially empty. For more information on sounds, see here:
https://products.geappliances.com/appliance/gea-support-search-content?contentId=16269

As far as the lower rack coming off the track, check out the GE Appliances Youtube video here for guidance: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kBwYl4FSl40

Your unit was designed to use any cycle option selected. If it's only allowing you to select the Normal option, we recommend resetting the breaker. If the issue persists, please schedule a service appointment with a Bodewell technician by calling 833-426-3393 or schedule online at https://www.bodewell.com/schedule-repair-service

We also recommend having a GE Appliances technician check out the Start button as well.

Pretty Good Appliance
on March 5, 2026

So far this washer works pretty good. It’s not very loud, and it cleans the dishes well. It is hard to tell when the rinsing dispenser is full. It hold large pans at the bottom pretty good and the controls are easy to use once you understand which cycles can be used together. My water bill has not increased so it seems very energy and water efficient.
I would recommend this to a friend!

We are happy to hear your new dishwasher unit is working good and the controls have been easy to use. This model is energy star rated and glad it’s been helping keep your energy cost down. We like to highlight that this model also offers "Active Flood Protect". It has a water sensor alarm that cancels the wash cycle before a flood may occur and alerts you with blinking lights and an alert tone giving you that peace of mind. We are confident you’ll be impressed with the many great features it has to offer.

AVOID This is NOT The Dishwasher You Want
on March 7, 2026

I've installed several of these in apartments and from the start I noticed the wheels on the bottom rack have issues, they will not remain in the built-in path, once loaded this gets worse. Every resident with this model complains. Every dishwasher of this model we have, he racks begin to rust within months. Then the next issue that occurs at about 6-9 months of normal use is the area on the bottom rack above the heating element begin to deform or melt, and rust. Even after making 100% sure these are level, both front to back, and side to side, they begin to leak at one or both of the bottom front corners. It makes no difference what you do with the seal at the bottom, or the black rubber seal that runs around the sides and top edge, the corners will eventually begin to leak. We've been left with several of these dishwashers that look very nice and new or like new on the outside, but still have all these issues. Our residents detest these dishwashers, and I've ceased ordering them. In my opinion they should be discontinued and amends should be made to everyone that has them.

We are so sorry to hear that the dishwashers aren't operating as expected. We'd like to help by providing some troubleshooting tips for these issues.

With the lower rack, you may need to bend the wheel axles outward so the wheels stay on track when pulling or pushing the rack. We recommend referring to the following GE Appliances Youtube video for guidance on this here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kBwYl4FSl40

Rust on the racks is not repairable; we recommend replacing the racks if the rusting becomes extensive. Dishwasher racks can be ordered on our GE Appliances Parts website.

It can take a few wash cycles for a new dishwasher to seat correctly. However if the leaking continues, the door seal may need to be replaced, which can also be ordered on our GE Appliances Parts website. For further tips on leaking from the door, see here:
https://products.geappliances.com/appliance/gea-support-search-content?contentId=18911

As far as the melting of the racks above the heating element and/or if further assistance is needed, please schedule a service appointment with a Bodewell technician by calling 833-426-3393 or schedule online at https://www.bodewell.com/schedule-repair-service

We hope this information is helpful. We will be sure to pass your feedback on about this model to our Product Design Team for review.

Rusty
on March 14, 2026

The whole unit is rusty on the inside especially the baskets that hold the dishes. I don’t even want to use it because I don’t want the rust coming off on my dishes. Yes we clean the whole unit by itself but obviously that’s not really helping.

Hooray for an A+! We are so excited that you are enjoying the low sound level of this dishwasher and its cleaning performance. This dishwasher includes a Dry Boost feature that we think you'll enjoy. The Dry Boost feature outperforms standard heated dry dishwashers by getting hard-to-dry items like plastics up to 3 times drier. We hope this dishwasher continues to serve you for many years to come!

Cycle Runs Long & Door Seal Issues
on March 16, 2026
Posted by: One9
from Battleground, WA
Unfortunately, this dishwasher has been frustrating to use. The wash cycle often seems to keep running longer than expected, and the door seal pops out very easily. When the seal shifts, water leaks onto the floor, which is a big concern and requires constant checking.
When it runs properly it cleans dishes fine, but the seal design feels weak and unreliable. I expected better quality and durability from GE. I hope this issue gets addressed because it could easily cause water damage if you’re not watching it closely.

We recommend having the door seal checked by calling our GE Appliances service team - Bodewell at 1-833-426-3393 to schedule an appointment to have your dishwasher evaluated and repaired as needed. The cycles times will vary depending on the cycle and options selected. The Owner's Manual does provide information regarding the times you can expect- https://products-salsify.geappliances.com/image/upload/s--EszXjA26--/2ee1c206fc195cd1717cedf8b41e2ab95579670c.pdf.
