Its not what I expected or wanted. Its too loud, the drying is not very good. just not a great dishwasher.

I can’t figure out how to switch between 1 hour wash and the other options. Not easy.
The capacity is good and I do love the deep bins for silverware. It’s quiet, which I luv.

This was the dishwasher my builder installed. Would never have chosen it for my self and would have upgraded had I know this was the model they’d use. I’ve seen better quality dishwashers in hotel rooms. It’s loud. It takes forever to get the dishes clean.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We want you to be happy and would like to offer some tips for you. Please check your water temperature. Proper water temperature is essential to achieve optimum results from your dishwasher and the detergent. Hot water is needed to dissolve and activate the detergent so that it can loosen and remove food soils. The hot water heater should be set to deliver at least 120 degrees Fahrenheit water to the dishwasher. Turning your hot water on first will allow the first fill to be nice and hot and that will help a lot.

Excellent cleaning and quiet; no fancy features

I chose this model for its price vs my needs. My old dishwasher needed replacement and I knew with the upgraded designs that any new dishwasher would give me more space. I wasn’t too concerned about noise, but now I’m glad for its quiet hum that I can barely hear. My dishes come out clean, although I do wipe the excess off with a used napkin. I find that the dry boost works best in maximum yet some cup bottoms still have a bit of water remaining. If I don’t chose any dry boost and open the door and leave it ajar with the top shelf pushed out a bit, I can get the same result.
I would recommend this to a friend!

It is normal for the dishwasher not to dry the bottoms of the wells of the glasses and plastic won't dry well but everything else should. This dishwasher is just average. Was installed with a broken door and doesn’t dry dishes well or remove food well. Also had made my silverware rust even though I immediately open the door to let the steam/hot air out once the cycle is done.

Washing and drying performance can is reliant on a number of different factors. First, we would recommend verifying that the inlet water temperature is hot enough. This can be checked by running the faucet nearest the dishwasher on its hottest setting and verifying the temperature reaches at least 120 degrees Fahrenheit. If possible, be sure that "Hi temp wash" is selected. Also, be sure that you are using a high-quality dish detergent and rinse aid along with making sure that the filter is not clogged. More information and steps to improve performance are available on page 19-20 of the use and care manual, linked here: https://products.geappliances.com/MarketingObjectRetrieval/Dispatcher?RequestType=PDF&Name=49-4000218-1.pdf
As for the drying performance, we would recommend allowing the dishwasher to vent by keeping the door closed for up to 90 minutes after the cycle ends to allow the fan to run. This will result in noticeably dryer dishes.
