If the dishes are not getting as dry and/or heated as you’d like, there are troubleshooting steps you can try. Those steps are listed in the manual, and include using the Dry Boost function, making sure the water is at least 120 degrees F, and considering using a rinse agent to assist with drying performance. For this product to be a GE it’s made poorly. Dose not do a good job at washing.

As your dishes are not getting clean, you might want to check that the filter isn’t clogged, that nothing on the rack is blocking the wash arms or detergent dispenser, and the water temperature is at least 120 degrees F. Use of a high quality detergent can also help improve wash performance. If there are any spots or filming on the glassware, you may have an issue with hard water; a rinse agent can often help with that. Simple is better ~ a lot better!

We purchased this GE dishwasher for several reasons the first of which is simplicity. This replacement is for an LG unit which had numerous features we never used. In the course of time the sophistication of the LG led to it's demise. The second reason for choosing this GE was "bang for the buck". For a reasonable price we have a dishwasher that works quite well. The downside to purchasing this model is having to reuse the power cord from the earlier unit and the leveling was something of a problem due to inaccessibility of the rear leveling feet. But overall we are very pleased with our choice.

I have never used a dish washer before. I've always liked to do my dishes by hand. I find that the dishwasher do not clean as well. Right now I use it to dry my dishes.

Plenty of space (there's 2 in our household) for dishes, pots and pans, etc. Good clean layout. Not as noisy as we were expecting (bonus!). Simple layout, simple use button pushing. Good pricepoint. Extremely happy with our purchase and happy to have GE as an option as we've had great long term success with GE products.
