Basic future

It has very basic functions as a dishwasher. You can definitely hear the dishwasher is working. The door is light. The inside is in silver metal so it’s brighter than one in white. It does not dry out completely. It does not have a sanitize function.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We do have a variety of dishwashers available, and features may vary depending on the model you choose. Our Dishwasher Design team will certainly be notified of your feedback regarding the lack of a Sanitize function, the noise the unit makes and other concerns about this model in particular; we value your insights, as we always like to know what our consumers prefer in terms of features.

Your concern with moisture might be resolved by using the Dry Boost option, and your manual does also have a few troubleshooting tips if the dishes themselves aren't completely dry. You may want to check that the dishwasher is not being prevented from latching by anything internal, such as a rack or dish blocking the door. It is also possible for an adjacent cabinet or surface to block the door from latching properly if there was any issue with installation. If the door is not being blocked at all, we would recommend contacting our service department at 1-800-432-2737; they would be happy to assist, and your dishwasher is covered by a limited manufacturer's warranty for the first year.

Hi there, and thanks for taking the time to reach out to us. We hate to hear you've had an issue with the buttons getting stuck on the dishwasher, especially after only two weeks. We know that must be disappointing for a new unit.

Disconnecting the unit from power for a couple minutes, then reconnecting may help; this resets the electrical components, so if any electrical part on the control panel is causing a problem with the buttons this could resolve it. If you cannot resolve the problem and think you may need to take advantage of your warranty, information that is available on page 23 of your manual. Our service department can be reached at 1-800-432-2737.

Broken and it’s been a month

Bought a brand new home. And whoever installed the dishwasher installed it broken. Very disappointing and a beyond frustrating experience. On the other hand it’s very cheaply made and will be purchasing a new one soon. Never had GE before and most likely will buy something else.

Basic, and junk

We have to prewash dishes and also sometimes run the thing again just to get dishes clean. Every time we open it after it’s”clean” the soap pod doesn’t even get dissolved. Not impressed with basic junk.

Hello. We appreciate you taking the time to submit your feedback, and really hate to hear you've had to prewash dishes and sometimes run the dishwasher twice; we know any trouble with getting the dishes clean would be frustrating to deal with, and would like to assist.

If the detergent is not dissolving, you may want to make sure no dishes are blocking the dispenser and preventing the detergent from being added to the wash. Making sure the water temperature is at least 120 degrees F is an important factor in the cleaning performance as well. Checking the filter and the wash arms to ensure they're turning on their own may also help.
