Dishes come out clean, only issue is that I have to restart machine halfway through cycle because it does not complete by itself

It is normal for many dishwashers to start and stop several times while draining. This helps pump out food soils more effectively. If your dishwasher pauses briefly or seems to start and stop during the draining period, this is normal operation. If you feel that this is not the case with your unit, please take full advantage of your warranty and schedule a service appointment. I’m very disappointed with the quality of this dishwasher, it’s only 2 years old and I have issues with it early on with noise being very loud, as if the dishes are falling apart , the door is very difficult to close properly and now the detergent cup won’t open during the cycle.
