Best Coffee Maker Ever!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This coffee maker replaced a Keurig that cost more. This FlexBrew is far superior. Makes great coffee. Quiet smooth operation. Love the flexibility of using the carafe or making a single cup. Kcups work great as well as the single brew filter.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this machine about a week ago and have really put it through it's paces since then! I have a k-cup that I love but my husband really loves his brewed pot and fresh ground beans. Up until now we've been using 2 machines to accommodate our separate tastes. Well, NO MORE!! Hamilton Beach has done it again! They have made life simple and affordable in our house.
Out of the box, the flex brew really surprised me! I thought it was going to be one of those huge machines that would take up the valuable real estate that is known as my kitchen counter top but it wasn't and takes up a LOT less space than my previous setup. It's pretty compact and being black with silver colored accents, it fits in very well with my stainless kitchen. If you aren't familiar with this type of appliance, I highly suggest reading the set up guidelines in the manual. They have also included a quick guide for the single cup side. Weighing in at just 13 lbs, it was easy for me to set up on my own. It has a 12 cup carafe for your "gotta have a whole pot" days and 2 inserts for the single cup side. One is for cups or pods with the needles to make the punctures and the other is for your own grounds and has a mesh filter built into the bottom sides. There is no need for you to purchase any extra parts!
In the removable drip tray there is storage to hold on of those inserts while you use the other. The tank for the single cup will hold up to 14 oz of water, although you can brew a smaller cup if you so desire. The brew options for the single cup begin at 6 oz and the side of the tank is marked with 6, 8, 10, 12 and 14 oz. This machine does not have a holding tank for the single cup side, so whatever amount of water you put in the tank is the amount of coffee that you will be brewing. For k-cup users, the max is 10 oz since using more than that will result in weak coffee but if you use the included filter for your own coffee, this will not be a problem. Because this system brews whatever you put in the tank, it takes longer since it is heating all of the water in the tank and not heating some in advance. This unit's k-cup holder has larger needle holes so the water runs through the grounds faster but it's a little louder than I expected.
I loved how stylish this unit is! It's built to look similar to the more high end models without the price tag. It also has a digital, lighted display that I loved! It easy to read and clearly shows the time, which function (carafe or single cup) and brew strength (regular or bold). Flexbrew also offers the option of pre-setting your 12 cup brewer to wake you up with fresh coffee and is very easy to set up.
All in all I really like this brewer! It has great features, is stylish and offers options if you have 2 people who are as different as my husband and I are when it comes to their coffee preferences.

Great Coffee Maker!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this coffee maker a week ago and love it. The ability to make a full pot and a single cup is wonderful. Sometimes all you want is a cup or need just one more after the pot is gone. It’s easy to set up the clock and timer for it to go off before you get up in the morning. Another great feature is the carafe. It has a little lip thing that makes it possible to pour the water in without the water dripping all over the place!!!

Hamilton Beach FlexBrew 2 - Amazing

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got to test out the Hamilton Beach Flex Brewer coffee machine for a week and boy am I impressed. This coffee machine really does it all, from brewing a 12-cup pot of coffee, single k-pod servings, even to brewing loose leaf tea and ground coffee. The design aesthetic is impressive, as it fits comfortably below my cabinets in a tight kitchen corner. It’s also just a little wider than most pod brewing systems, which makes it ideal as a replacement. The buttons are functional and easy to press, programming coffee at 6am is easy and I didn’t need to read the owner’s manual to do so. There are many attachments which provides even more functionality and practicality to the flex brew system. The machine overall is actually pretty quiet, so makes quiet brewing times effective when trying to study or fulfill work. The 12-cup brewing takes a good ten minutes for a 6-12 cups of coffee, otherwise, if you’re in a rush, I’d recommend using the single serve method. The weight of the machine is made out of plastic, except for the drip catcher which is aluminum. Otherwise, a very light machine to carry around. Considering the Hamilton Beach Flex Brewer for your home, apartment, or workplace, I’d highly recommend purchasing this unit for your coffee, tea, or other needs, as this machine has totally replaced all of my brewing systems altogether. Extremely happy, and can’t wait to show it off to those who visit and stay over.

Lots of options

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received my FlexBrew 2 Way coffee maker last week. We have been using it a few times each day. When making a pot of coffee, we love that the coffee is very hot and fresh tasting once brewed. The unit does not make much sound during brewing and is very easy to program. It does not give the option to set how long the warmer stays on - the unit cuts off after two hours.
When using the single cup option, the unit makes a lot of noise but works properly. We did not realize that if you fill up the single cup reservoir to the max limit, all the water will come out once you start the brewing option. This does not give you the option to keep extra water in the reservoir like our prior unit did. We have started placing a container of water on that side of the unit as a reminder.
There is a removable cup rest / storage container on the Single cup side that stores the brew basket funnel (for ground coffee use). It is very difficult to place the funnel in the container and get the lid to go back on flat. If you don't have the lid on flat, your mug will tilt over. We ended up placing the brew basket funnel in a cabinet since we mostly use the single cup and not ground coffee. Overall we like the unit and would purchase again if something happened to this one.

Best Coffee maker I've ever owned!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm usually the only coffee drinker in my house who only likes to drink a single cup a day, but every so often I have a guest who also wants coffee or want to take a cup to work. With this coffee maker I can brew a whole pot or a single cup using a k-cup or the included single brew pod. I love the brew pod! I can now use my favorite coffee without spending a fortune on k-cups, but can still use them if I want a flavored coffee. The single cup side can brew 8 oz or a 12 oz of coffee, which is prefect for my travel mug. It can be set to brew at bold or regular strength. I can also program to have a pot ready when I wake up. I wish I could program it to brew a single cup, but it brews quickly. I also love the fact that it turns off after not being used for a bit, because I often forget if I turned off the coffee maker or not.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great Features

I love the "keep warm" feature and separate pictures showing which side you are using. The best part is how quiet the brewing is on each side, no loud noises. The single serve has separate brew basket for the K-cup and ground coffee, this prevents leaks. I'm very happy with this product.
