[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like the size of this product- my kitchen is small and it fits perfectly; love the idea of choosing pods as well as grinds (it has a fine mesh metal filter to put the loose coffee grounds in), and because of the adjustable cup rest and 14 oz. water reservoir, you can have a big "to-go" mug. You may "brew" plain water through unit for hot tea or hot chocolate, too.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this coffeemaker. It is quick and easy to use. It also gives you the option of using k-cups OR ground coffee so you don’t have to keep swapping out coffee pots. The only thing I did not like was that you had to put the exact amount of water you wanted in each time. I like having options of different sizes that the machine measures out for you. Other than that, it is a great product!!

Also a plus is that it includes the brewing capability other than having to buy K-cups. I usually drink a couple of cups a day and this certainly serves me well.

A simple machine made simply perfect

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I opened the box I saw a very nice looking machine that looked like all the rest but that was just a quick first impression, after tinkering with every part on the unit and cleaning the system per the instructions in the manual I noticed the design was made for ease and usefulness. I was also very impressed on how easy they made it for us to clean the needle that pokes the hole in the top of the single serve pack.
The single serve pack holder and the brew basket is very easy to take in and out and to clean, you don't even have to study the manual for two hours in order to achieve the goal of the task nor do you have to be a world champion thumb wrestler to install the single serve packs.
This simple machine is made simply perfect and makes a perfect cup of coffee every time at the perfect temperature. When it gets done you don't have any annoying warning bells or whistles but what it does have is is a pump that pushes the water out of the lines so that water doesn't set and grow mold,which is great for my future cups of coffee.

Small in size, great in taste!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Smaller in size but great but its flexibility is great! I have a bigger single serve unit but living in an apartment, counter space is limited. This much smaller unit is such a great convenience. I only want one cup of coffee in the morning and this is perfect for that, no waste. I also love that I can use my over-size coffee mug which is something I can’t do with my other one. It makes great tasting coffee…couldn’t ask for more.

Love the added brew basket and strong brew button

I don't use K-cups so, this review will be based upon just using the grounds basket. As far as the quality of the machine, it looked very impressive. A bit larger than I expected but, that viewpoint is based upon someone who hasn't updated their 1 Cup coffee maker purchased at RiteAid for $10 over 15 years:). Anyhow, I made my first cup of coffee in the Hamilton Beach Flex Brew tonight. I used 2 Tablespoons of a newly opened bag of Gevalia House Blend Medium Roast with 8 ounces of water...the same measurements I use every morning in my old 1C coffee maker. I selected the strong brew button first time out and, it did make a stronger cup of coffee so, that was a big improvement. Like my coffee strong but don't want to have to use any more coffee to GET it that way. Water boils in the back reservoir which I also like since, the finished cup of coffee is hotter in the cup rather than the spurts of hot water coming out in increments as with my older model. All and all, a nice improvement to my morning cup of coffee experience. Sorry about not testing it with a K-cup. I'm old school so, using a K-cup for grounds when you can brew grounds in the separate filter they provide doesn't make sense to me. Maybe all machines don't have that extra brew basket so, if not , that's a real plus for this machine.
