[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love my rice cooker! It is easy to use and easy to clean. It can do so much more than just cook rice. It comes with a steaming basket for steaming but it also works as a slow cooker. Amazing cooker that I love having in my kitchen.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Nice looking 16 cup rice cooker with a digital timer. Makes perfect rice every time. It's also a slow cooker and steamer too. Has so many things it can do and I'm eager to try out the many things it's capable of doing. Well worth it's price and would recommend to everyone.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First let’s get the cooking rice done. Yes! It cooks rice and does a wonderful job. The rice came out just right. Fluffy and tasteful and it can makes a lot of it! But I was very surprised at the other things it could do and do well. You can sauté for 60 minutes! That’s a long time. This gives you the ability to make more complicated dishes in one pot without overcooking or undercooking anything. And this function is hot like sautéing should be. You’ll definitely get a sear on meats and carmelization on vegetables and fruits. I was pretty impressed by the slow cook function which allowed for low and high heat settings and they kept a constant temperature throughout the cooking cycle. I made a huge amount of Irish oats with apples, raisins and cranberries thrown in on the hot cereal function and the cereal came out creamy and delicious. It was done just right and I made enough to last for a week of breakfasts. I am simply blown away by this appliance. It was easy to use and it holds a lot! I like the markings on the inside of the cooking pot for rice and hot cereals. Just follow the instructions and you can’t go wrong and DO use the little rice cup because the machine is calibrated to use this volume of dry rice when cooking rice. I liked that it automatically switched to warm when the dish was done and you can set starting times. Just to give some sense of what this baby can do I made chili, tandoori chicken, rice of course, both brown and white, pork roast with sautéed apples, steamed vegetables, steamed fish and Irish oatmeal and every dish was delicious. I used this appliance a lot! This is well worth getting.
Pros: holds a lot of food, easy to use, easy to clean, easy to take apart and put back together, does way more than just cook rice and truly is multifunctional and looks great and modern.
Cons: This is not really a con but is a good size, so it does take up kitchen real estate and if you don’t have a lot of kitchen counter space, well it is very lightweight and portable and comes with a handle!

Cooks Rice And So Much More

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Rice is a staple in my house, so we need a rice cooker that is not only reliable but works well. This Hamilton Beach 16 Cup Premium Rice Cooker is that plus so much more! It does an excellent job of cooking rice, both white and brown, but it doesn't stop there. You can also use it to steam meat and veggies. I love the large steamer basket that is included. I can cook rice and veggies at the same time. Works great for hot cereal such as oatmeal. But wait, there's more. It also saute's and slow cooks. The digital countdown timer is large and easy to read. This cooker also has an adjustable cooking timer, however not for cooking rice. The rice cooker part is pre set to cook rice for 30 minutes. At first I thought that was too long to cook rice, however after using this product multiple times, the rice comes out perfect. I also enjoy the keep warm feature. If you cook large quantities of rice this 16 cup cooker is perfect for your household. You can also make smaller amounts too, making it great for 1 or 2 people or a house full. Clean up is quick and easy. The interior cooking pot is non stick and easily comes clean with hot soapy water.

simple design

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the simple design and how it has easy buttons to use for rice and hot cereal. at first I was unsure of using the rice cooker but reading up the manual it seemed a bit easier, after using it 3 to 4 times I finally got the hang and the rice comes out really nice and fluffy. The clean up is pretty easy as well, the pot comes out really quick and can be cleaned at the sink. The pot that comes with it can be taken out before turning on the rice cooker and you can prepare the dishes that you want before hand without worrying about dropping food on the buttons or sides.

Perfect All around Use Rice Cooker

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I don't think this should be labeled as just a Rice Cooker. I have enjoyed using the other features that it has to offer. The pan inside is labeled very nicely no problem reading it at all. This is so easy to use and clean. Has a great handle to carry. I used the slow-cooker to make a Beef Stew and it turned out delicious. I Steamed some Jumbo Shrimp with Broccoli & Cauliflower w/Rice and that turned out great also. I sauté mushrooms for steaks and they were delicious. I steamed fingerling potatoes and they turned out wonderful. Can't wait to continue to use this to see what other things.

It was way better then the oven. I steamed vegetables they came out perfect. I seasoned them inside before I cooked them. My family loved them. It was easy to serve as well as clean up. I needed this I have 3 sons that love to eat. I'm already getting ready to use it this morning. The only negativeI will need a bigger one because of how much my sons eat.

Outstanding and extremely versatile

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I never thought I would need a rice cooker, but here I am, and I cannot express how much I am loving it! When I try and make basmati rice on the stovetop, it comes out mushy, so I gave up trying after a few disasters, sticking to instant rice, which, there is no comparison to basmati! I have made a few batches of rice with it and each one has been on point, nice fluffy rice, not gooey or mushy, thanks to the little microcomputer that carefully monitors the amount of rice and adjusts the temperature and cooking time, so you cannot mess it up. Moreover, the rice cooker is attractive, and blends in nicely with my stainless steel appliances in the kitchen. Second, the capacity (up to 16 cups of cooked rice) cannot be beat! In addition to rice and grains, you can use the appliance as a slow cooker! It is also pretty compact and short in height, so it stores easily away in a pantry or cabinet! I am extremely pleased with this rice cooker, and will never go back to instant rice or boiling rice on the stove. This is a game changer for me.
