Great addition in any kitchen

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This multicooker is a great addition to my home with limited storage space. With this one appliance i have the capabilities of a roaster, rice cooker, steamer, and slow cooker! It even comes with a rice measuring cup. The 9 functions plus delayed start are conveniently displayed on the control panel which is easy to read and operate. One feature which was helpful during my cooking occurred while I was steaming veggies. The vessel had ran out of water and the multicooker beeped and flashed alerting me to add more water. Had it not done this I would have not had yummy steamed veggies for dinner. I haven’t had much use of the delayed start function but i do wish it would work with all functions not just white rice, whole grain, and steam. The vessel and roasting rack are dishwasher safe which allows for easy clean up. Just remember to not use the SANI cycle as that could cause them damage.

Great Multicooker

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this and I made a seasoned pork tenderloin in it. I first browned it in the multicooker then I turned it to roast. I really like that you can do everything in one unit. The tenderloin turned out really juicy and tender. I can’t wait to try the slow cook. The only thing that I wish is it came with a recipe book and a chart to cook different foods. I highly recommend this multicooker. It compares to more expensive ones.

Very Versatile Appliance

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had some reservations about buying this appliance, but now I am glad that I did! The reason that I had reservations was its large size, as we generally only cook for the two of us. However, I have found that it is a real time saver, as I can make large batches, and with the leftovers create several meals. Its multiple functions make it very versatile, as it combines a number of appliances in one. The first time I used it, I combined 3 of the functions. I made a stew, used the sauté setting to cook some onions, removed them, then used "sear" to sear the beef. Deglazed the pot w/ a little wine, then added the onions back in along w/ the other ingredients and did a slow cook. All in the same pot, awesome! I am looking forward to experimenting more with it! I like the features of Delay Start, Warm, and also the feature that gives a warning when you are steaming and it goes dry, that gives you time to add more water. My only negative is relatively minor, and that is the display. It is very user friendly and well laid out, but I found that until I knew which button was where, I had to use a flashlight to read the display until I pushed a button. Once you push a button, that button lights and can be read with no problem. Again, a minor issue. I would definitely recommend this appliance!

Great Features and Options

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My favorite feature would have to be the Delayed Start! This is great for when you have an 8+ hour work day and you want to start the slow cooker before you leave without having dried out meat. I also love that you can sear your food right in the same unit as you're cooking. Less dishes and more flavor.

I tell all my family and friends about the Hamilton beach muli cooker, it's the best.
