Very versatile

My New Oven

I cooked a pork loin and steamed vegetables all came out great. This is a real time saver and you do not have to use any pots. This does it all!

Great features!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought a 6 lb whole chicken to test out this multi-cooker. First I used the SEAR/BROWN setting. I browned my chicken on all sides. Then I set it to ROAST for 1 1/2 hours. The roasting temperature is 375 degrees F. I covered the cooker and let it do it's thing, while I went about doing other things. When the timer was up, the cooker automatically switched to the WARM setting. (a wonderful feature). I was a bit skeptical, and thought my chicken would be dry... but to my amazement, my chicken came out perfectly done, nice and juicy, and looking delicious.This cooker is a serious and delightful addition to my kitchen. I never thought I needed one of these multi-cookers, but this one definitely changed my mind. I see myself using this cooker several times a week. I have already recommended this to my family and friends.

Very Versatile!

It is sitting on my counter and it probably will never be put away because I've been using it everyday since receiving it. I made oatmeal in for breakfast and then used it to make rice and sear some steaks for dinner. Awesome product! Love it.

Love the shape!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Pros: Love the shape-was able to fit 2 2 lb. roasts side by side. Plus I was able to brown the roasts in the same pan before cooking. I love the handles on the insert-makes it so easy to remove the insert without burning yourself or dropping it. Lots of choices on the menu.
Cons: Had a very hard time seeing the menu choices. Had to tip the unit up to see the various choices. When slow cooker had food in it, I had to use a flashlight to read the menu choices. Would help loads if the menu items were backlit or had some kind of background that would make the words stand out. One big problem I had (and maybe I just didn't know what I was doing) was when I found the food had cooked quicker than I anticipated (I had it on low for 10 hours) I was unable to reduce the cooking time or switch it to warm. I had to cancel and then key in 1 hour to cook so it would then switch to warm. I wasn't quite ready for it to go to warm so had to add cooking time so it would then switch to warm at the end of the hour. I believe this unit cooks faster than my old slow cooker so I will make sure I don't add so much time on the low setting.
All in all, I love the slow cooker. It fits perfectly on my cooking island, and it looks great. It is so easy to remove the food once it is done and the cooking unit is extremely easy to clean. I am giving this slow cooker a 4 rating only because I had difficulty reading the menu choices. If that were changed, I would give it a 10!!!

Perfect for small kitchens

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So at first I was wary of this Multi-cooker, because for the last 5 years I've had another well known competitors multi-cooker. I luv sit for other peoples fur babies while they vacation. So believe me when I say I use my multi-cooker ALOT! So on my last job, I took my new Hamilton Beach 6 qt 9-in-1 cooker. Well let me tell you, it did not disappoint. I was able to make my cabbage, potato and bacon recipe, with no splattering on the walls and counter! I made a roast using the pre-programmed functions. Perfect roast. Also, can be loaded in dishwasher, which my other cooker you could not! Easy to use, easy to cook, easy to clean! My sister currently is in transition to a new home. I recommended this cooker. She loves it! She can fry, steam, roast...everything using 1 vessel! You will not be disappointed if you purchase it
