A must have portable heater

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Vornadobaby whole room heater is beyond excellent. This really helps you feel cool. I like that it's small and portable, not heavy, meaning I can bring in anywhere, especially during those seasons where it's cold. The packaging is so safe, and I love how stylish it looks. Comes a battery and a small crib sensor remote and all the safety features and instructions like its finger friendly design, which I love. I love that it's automatically shut off when you tip over. It's energy efficiency, and since it's baby friendly, it's not noisy. It also has a timer and control lock and a lot more. This product is something you need to invest, especially the winter season. It's totally recommended.

The safety features are beyond what I expected

The best feature about this is the bottom because not only does the cord wrap up underneath, but there is a sensor too, this sensor when the heater is slightly tilted will kick off and lock the heater. There is an unlock button on the top of the heater. You press for 3 seconds to turn back on. So, I consider that an amazing safety feature. Also, this has a little sensor that you can place anywhere in the room to see the temperature of that area, which is really awesome to make sure your little ones don't get cold. This heater has 3 settings l, low heat, high heat, and a fan with adjustable temperatures. This is a portable heater and is super quiet. The heater is also energy efficient, which is always an amazing plus.

Perfect space heater

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a perfect space heater when I don't need to heat up the whole house. I love that it has fan only as well, amongst low and hi heat. It's nice that I can keep far and there is a sensor for when the area I need to keep at a safe temp, is reached. Safety feature to lock the buttons too! Only thing I had issue at first is that I was directly over the screen and couldn't see any functions pop up as I was pressing buttons. Turns out I need to angle down and in front to see

Perfect for using around small children

Pros
• Awesome power cord storage. A silicone flap on the bottom keeps the cord contained for tidy storage and transport. And it makes it very easy to unwrap and wrap the cord to just the length you need.
• Child lock is built in (hold for 3sec to unlock controls) and doesn't require a remote like some competitors.
• Intuitive control panel was easy to understand at first glance.
• Allows you to set a precise target temperature and control the fan rate. The machine will toggle off/on to maintain the temp.
• The extra temperature sensor ensures the heater keeps running until the target area is warm enough, instead of stopping when it gets warm near the heater itself.
• The machine stayed cool enough to the touch that I don't have concerns about anyone getting burned.
• Heats the direction it's pointing well and the entire room fairly well. Note, this machine does not oscillate. The purpose of this machine is to gently raise the entire room to a temperature for a baby, rather than sit next to you and blow intense heat on you.

• The display and LEDs cannot be turned off so there will be a few lights if used in the dark.

Quirks you can deal with
• The +/- temperature buttons are straight forward, but they have some quirks. It takes a conscious effort to carefully aim your finger because they are so small and tightly packed. They also don't repeatedly increment the temperature when you hold down the buttons so you have to press the buttons for every degree you want to change. These aren't deal breakers because you won't need to use them often, but they are room for improvement if Vornado ever does an update.
• There is an anti-tip sensor which shuts off the machine when it detects the device shifting on the ground. This is a great safety feature, but the threshold for shutoff is a bit too sensitive. If you push a button on the control panel too hard, the force of pressing the button can move the machine just enough to trigger a shut off, and then you have to wait 3sec to undo the child lock again. This isn't a deal breaker because you won't need to use the controls often and you can learn how hard to press, but it is room for improvement if Vornado ever does an update.
• The machine I received makes a slightly annoying, albeit faint, buzzing noise when running. On the plus side it's only audible if you're near the device so this is more of a quirk you can learn to work around if your device is the same way.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The best!!!!!! We have had really bad weather in Oklahoma and this little air has help keep our room warm. I love that its kids friendly because you know kids love to grab things well you beat belive their little fingers are protected because the dont fit thru the opening and if they happen to move it it turns of on its own. It also doesn’t het hot from blowing hot air so if they touch they dont get hurl like orher ones. But the nest thing overall is that it makes zero noise you cant even tell is there before getting this we had a difference kind and i hated it because of how noisy it gets and I couldn’t sleep at night let alone my baby so that a plus on this. I use it to warm my room so i dont use the sensor part but thats a big plus if your planning on using this in your nursery because you set the temp and with the sensor it will stop and start on its on.

Decent!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I definitely don’t like the safety features. If you move or lift the heater it shuts off. Then you have to hold a button down for at least five seconds in order to turn it back on. The noise level is great. Can’t even hear that it’s on. The temperature control is a little wonky to be able to set it at versus what the room temperature is at. Overall for free it’s a decent little heater to warm your room up.
