The heater works and won’t burn my toddler. There’s room for improvement though…the lights on the heater are very bright! They’re bright enough to light up my toddlers room and disrupt his sleep…there’s no way to turn them off! Why can’t I dim or turn off the lights? We own the Vornadobaby purifier which does have the ability to turn off lights so I assumed this would be the same…it’s not though. For now I have tape over the bright display and other lights..might end up painting over it.
The heater works as advertised, but the bright lights feels like a major oversight on a product made for young children/baby’s rooms.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Not for nursery, too bright

The heater and functions work well but the controls and led status lights are so bright my baby can not sleep with this heater on. There is no mention of turning off the lights in the owners manual. If you google studies darkness is important for melatonin production to have successful sleep. The controls on the heater produce enough light for me to read completely on the other side of a 12x10 baby room.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great product

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This seemed intimidating when first looking at it. I've only used a heater with a on/off switch. It was actually very easy to learn and setup took minutes. The remote seems to work well to read the temperature. I like that the modes actually have lights so I can see what I'm doing easier at night. I do think this may cause issues for some that like to keep a baby in a fully dark room. We actually got this for our cat room so that's not an issue in our situation. I really like that the cord goes into the bottom of this when not in use. It'll make storage much easier. I also really like that it turns off when tipped over or moved. The lock feature also works well though again, we don't need it personally. But that's a great feature for for those with a child.

I was very excited about this product. However, it was very loud with a rattly sound, smelled bad, and turned itself off after 15 minutes. I could not get it to turn back on, so I think I received a dysfunctional product.

Second Unit Also Failed

Last year I was please with my unit but it failed after about 3 months. After going through the usual gyrations - cut the cord, take a photo of the serial number, upload, etc, Vorado graciously replaced it. It happened again with the new one - worked well for 8-10 weeks then croaked - again. With all due respect, I think Vornado's allegiance with Chinese parts and manufacturing (rather than in Kansas) likely plays a role.

Many Safety Features

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Vornado-Sensa Cribside Sensing Heater with Auto Climate controls works great and has so many safety features. If the Sensa is knocked over or if it happens to overheat for some reason it will shut itself off. The holes on the grill are small enough so little fingers can't get inside. This comes with a Crib Sensor Remote which will give you the temperature of the room. You can't go wrong with this heater.

Amazing

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The sensa crib side sensing nursery heater with auto climate is amazing it keeps my baby’s room the perfect temperature on cold nights it shuts off when it reaches the set temperature and turns back on when it gets cold in the room again

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This little nursery heater is so nice. I put it in my room for a couple days, before putting it in the baby's room. I tipped it over , pushed it around. Every time it is moved it will shut itself off. And it is very quiet.
