The remote that comes with the humidifier has a humidor sensor. Since the remote has a sensor the remote can be placed anywhere in the large room away from the location of the humidifier. The automatic humidity settings work fantastic for our large living/dining room!

I bought the UH200 humidifier about a month ago because our 100 year old home has hot water heat (boiler) which is very efficient but also very dry. We use it in the bedroom. I find that it works fairly well. The only issue is that it makes loud “glug” “glug” noises which come from the large water tank. The noises are quite loud and wake me up. There are no leaks and no other reasons I can see for this noise. Otherwise it makes a low purring sound and makes a very fine mist which are ok.
I had to stop using it. My solution is to operate the humidifier on weekends during the day when I’m off of work then turn it off when we go to bed. I might recommend the humidifier but only to a sound sleeper. Too bad about the glug glug noises. They’re so loud I can hear it when I’m downstairs in another room!

Needed a large room humidifier for and open space living area. My room was about 29%
humidity and needed something to help. This unit does the job. Easy to fill and lid is secure to return it to the unit. With about 2 gallons of water it can be heavy to carry. Quiet and looks great in my living room. Helps me and my plants. Both doing better.
