Good Dryer w/Great Features

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my first Electrolux appliance coming from LG. I purchased mainly for the size, features (which includes steam) and price. I have a few minor complaints. If the dryer has a steam function then I believe that the kit should come with the dryer. My second more serious concern is that the dryer doesn’t close tightly. It’s somewhat loose and moves back and forth ever so slightly instead of a solid click with no movement like my previous dryer. I was so concerned that I went back to the store the next day to check the display and sadly it was exactly the same with the movement of the door when closed. I took one star for the door movement.
One really nice feature that I noticed was the interior LED light. It’s nice and bright (~ daylight temp/5500K) to ensure that you can see and grab all of your clothes when dry. There’s also a rather large lint trap that is not quite intuitive but appears to capture lint in two directions. It opens from the top center.
There is a slight learning curve as certain options are locked based on the dryer setting. Not a deal breaker but it is a good idea to read the manual (I can’t believe that I said that either…lol).
Great set of features for the price. About two weeks in and no major complaints so far. I believe that I would recommend with the caveat about the door closure thing and no kit for the steam feature.

A poor design

Small clothing. like socks, underwear, and other delicates, get stuck by the front window door above the lent filter and rarely make it back in the drying drum. This is caused by the drying tub slanting downward towards the front window door.
The lint filter is also difficult to clean.
Don't buy.
