Excellent Machine!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As a professional interior designer, I am always sourcing the best for clients and myself. With washing machines, I used many different brands and so this is the first time purchasing the Electrolux. I am extremely pleased with this machine and dryer. The quality and features are excellent. I have a number of favourite features, one being 'Whitest Whites' as revise mostly white linens for our beds. Additionally, I absolutely LOVE the 'Stain Treat', 'Extra Rinse', 'Wrinkle Release' and 'Extended Release' options. The other feature worth mentioning is the dispenser drawer that accommodates single-dose detergent pods, so no need to toss them in the drum. There is also a distinct selection for pod packs. This machine has great cleaning results even on the quick '18 minute fast wash' cycle! Five Stars!

Average, but not a great machine

I recently replaced my kenmore elite with the Electrolux 500 washer. Since then, all of my clothes have become faded, pilled, and scratchy. I have tried different cycles, and figured out it takes 3 rinses to get rid of the sticky feeling when using less than 2 tablespoons of laundry soap. I really regret this expensive purchase and need to replace several articles of clothing. My advice is to not buy this machine.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought it almost a month ago and love it. It is very energy efficient. I tried the quick wash and the clothes were perfect. It will take pods, liquid or dry detergent. The doors can be changed which is a huge help.

For the very first time in our many years that my wife and I are actually excited to do laundry! It is unbelievable how this machine can get clothes looking new again just by how clean it gets them!
