Amazing washer!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Purchased to replace a working but moldy machine. Install went horribly wrong and water went everywhere -- aside from that the machine so far is OK - not great, not as amazing as the salesperson made it out to be, but OK. Clothes do seem cleaner, it is not noisy however I am concerned the detergent dispenser design will still allow for mold build up.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We are glad to hear that your new washer is working as designed and have some tips that can assist you with your main concern. Front-loading washers have watertight, airtight doors that seal with rubber gaskets which trap moisture in the machine, and also provide the perfect corners and openings for mold and mildew to grow. To keep mold at bay, front-load washers need just a bit more maintenance than top-load washers.
To clean the gasket, we recommend using a rag or towel to clean the rubber door gasket on your front-loading washer with either hot soapy water or a spritz of mildew cleaner. Make sure to wipe underneath and around it as well. After a load, we also recommend wiping the gasket down and leaving the door slightly open.
At any time you ever need any immediate assistance or have any questions, feel free to reach out to us at 1-877-435-3287 Monday-Friday 8:30am-8pm EST at your convenience.
