Quiet, Efficient, and Worth the Price

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this and the companion dryer as a pair for our new apartment, and wanted something we could take with us when we move. Electrolux was recommended because they're made in the US, so we can get replacement parts easy and fix them ourselves when the warranty expires. It's been a great machine thus far! It's quiet and has a great energy efficiency rating. We haven't had the chance to try the steam feature yet. It's nice to have reversible doors on BOTH the companion dryer and this washer. Even on the spin cycle near the end of washing, it's very quiet. Unfortunately our place doesn't have doors to put in front of the washer and dryer, so we can still hear the spin cycle, but that's pretty much it! Even though we can hear it, it's never been loud enough to make it hard to hear something or someone else in the place. We made sure the machine is balanced, and it has yet to bang around with a lop-sided load.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Nice features

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased it because I needed the reversible door and it’s the only washer that offered it, but found it had a lot of useful features. I like that it has a removable liquid cup because I like to switch between powder and liquid detergent. It washes clothes really well and has a a lot of different settings. I like the fast wash cycles.

Problems

No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Really great washer for those upgrading

Quiet. We do not have a laundry room. Our washer and dryer are in a laundry closet with no doors in the middle of the house. We needed something quiet. This washer is super quiet a lot of times I forget it is on.
The only time it is loud is during the spin cycle. I’m not sure you will find any washer that is quiet during a spin cycle.
We upgraded from a top load to this washer.
The features.
The presets cover most laundry loads. If they don’t you can pretty much go in there and adjust them accordingly.
The 15 minute fast wash is fantastic for forgotten items needed quickly. You can wash and dry them
In under an hour.

The sanitize feature is awesome for towels they come out super fresh. If you have children this is a great feature for bedding or clothing for allergens.
Extended refresh has been life changing when I can’t get to the machine right away.
I also love setting the machine up the night before and having it start laundry first thing in the morning so it is done before I have coffee.
Tide pods. I don’t use them but I used the sample packs they gave us. This is super cool for those that use pods.
The controls:
The panel is touch sensitive. The only moving part is the knob which has a nice feel to it.

My husband is a handy so we looked at the replacement parts prior to purchase so we could decide if something did break if it would be costly. None of the parts were overly expensive.
Cons:
Coming from a top load I’m still learning how to adjust detergent amounts. This is more user error I’m sure but if you’re like me be mindful you do not need nearly as much detergent as the box says. I often have to do extra rinse to get the suds down.
The Chime.
My biggest complaint on the washer is the chime. This little guy annoys you. You can turn it off but I really wish They would put in options to have it chime just once instead of every few minutes until the machine turns off.
Would 110% buy again at full price.

No great features

I bought this washer in January it worked for one month, then wasn't wash good, so they gave me another one, that washer worked for a good 1 1/2 months, then nothing on that washer worked, only rise cycle,
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
