Perfect for a small Fraternity

We purchased two of these Steam Washers and matching gas Dryers for a small Fraternity in Ithaca, NY. They look great and should stand up to all the abuse that the young men are sure to subject them to. We're optimistic they will last as long as their predecessors (which were not Electrolux).

We bought this washer a few weeks ago. It has been easy to use and I especially like having s short cycle for the times I'm washing something that is barely dirty.

Clean Design & Quiet Operation

We bought the Electrolux front load washer and matching dryer to replace a Bosch set whose controller board failed. I like the washing and drying options on both machines, and the simple controls. On the washer, it seems like the front gasket that normally gets very moldy is less likely to do so as the neoprene fold is shallower than the one of the Bosch. There's also small drain holes in the base of the gasket to drain excess water, and further limit mold growth. Time will tell, but the design seems more thought out.

Bought this w/o much research after my 14-yr old Maytag washer and dryer failed within a few days of each other. With a rebate and energy rebate it worked out to about $800. I was very surprised by how quiet it is. Love the size and how much it fits. The 18 minute was is a key feature when you have 3 kiddos. Haven’t tried the steam functions yet but happy to know they are there. Bought the pedestal this time too and appreciate the height addition. Aesthetically, looks beautiful and I’m very pleased with the choice.

I bought this because my top load machine wasn’t doing a good job of washing my clothes. I wanted a quality machine with good brand name. This has not let me down. It’s efficient and tackles anything I throw in it. I really like the quick wash and the steam cycle.
