[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve had my new washer just a few weeks, but all seems well. I haven’t needed any special settings but the controls are easy to read and customize. I love that there’s a light inside when you open after a load.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Have owned this machine for almost 3 weeks, so the reliability remains to be seen. Thinking it has too many options for washing clothes, I wasn't convinced I would use most of them. I have been proved wrong in that the sanitizing function works well enough to keep bath towels smelling fresh after a whole week of daily use. The stain treat and perfect steam option have gotten hubby's jeans cleaner than they have ever been. The cycles run fairly long, which seems a fair trade off for apparently using very little water and cleaning better. It's quiet, which is great for us, since the laundry room is adjacent to the master bedroom and some people like to do laundry at night. The end of cycle alarm is an easy to ignore tweedle that is preferable to the loud buzz our old washer had. The old front loader was 21 years old and I hated to see it go. This is the first appliance we have purchased from big box store since we prefer to support local small business and have been well served by them. But thanks to covid, there were no decent washers in stock except at the big box. The third party delivery service they use showed up on time but bailed on the delivery as soon as they saw our laundry pedestal. We didn't ask about this possibly being an issue when we bought. Since the delivery guys gave us a couple of different answers why they couldn't set up the machine, it seemed to us that they were trying to avoid any deliveries that could slow them down or possibly increase the odds of injury. The store does give a disclaimer that not all deliveries will be possible even though you paid for this service. We were able to convince them to help lift the new machine onto the pedestal before leaving. Hubby finished hooking it up and reversed the door orientation. Not sure we will make a purchase like this from a big box store again, but so far the machine is great. We are very happy with it. I wish the local appliance stores carried Electrolux. If it lasts at least 10 years, I would give it 5 stars.
