Awesome washer with reverseable door

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this in conjunction with the matching dryer. We chose Electrolux because of the reverseable doors. We oriented our washer and dryer opposite from the other front loaders out there. This is the quietest washer I have ever heard (or not heard), even during the spin cycle. Quick and efficient wash cycle, similar to the dryer. And recently discovered but not used yet is the steam option. I can't wait to try it. Very pleased with this choice and would chose again.

Great Doors!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We liked a lot of the features included with this washer and its matching dryer, but the key thing we liked most was the solid construction and quality of their doors. Previous washer and dryers we've owned have had issues with flimsy constructed doors that need repairs or replacement after just a couple years.

Great washing machine

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this a day before Thanksgiving as my 15 year old Whirlpool front loader died. I love a front loader as I am short and cannot reach the bottom of a top loader. This machine is quiet and efficient.. I love the features and that you can change the settings within the cycles. I have no issues with smell as I leave the door open for a few minutes at the end of a cycle. I never had issues with my Whirlpool We tried Electrolux as recommendation from the private dealer. He said he has these in his house. We have purchased all our major appliances from him. We wanted a Whirlpool or Maytag product but he had none in his showroom so he convinced us to try this product. It is a great machine. I have only had it for 6 weeks but have no complaints.

**LOVE LOVE LOVE**

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was just telling my husband yesterday, "I truly believe my new Electrolux front load washer is cleaning our clothes better than our previous Whirlpool front load washer!" I was SO so sad when my Whirlpool washer died! It was only 7 years old?!?! But that machine dying was a hidden blessing ... my Electrolux is AMAZING. Super easy to use and the 18 MINUTE FAST WASH is super handy. This unit allows you to toggle back a forth between TIDE PODS or TIDE liquid HE detergent. The blue LED light helps me find those pesky socks that like to hide in the drum. The machine's spin cycle is SO thorough the dry cycle (read my review on the dryer!!!) is super short! I cannot say enough about this new machine. If we sell our home I will ask hubby if we can take the set with us!

Loud and shakes and low capacity

I am so disappointed w/ this washer. I have had 2 in my house and they are extremely loud and shake like crazy. I thought it was being over loaded but even does it with small loads.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Your appliance will make a variety of noises depending on which component is being used. For example, as water enters the dispenser system it is common to hear a water flowing sound. This normal sound will vary slightly based on the water pressure in your home. Other normal operating sounds can be found in your Use and Care Guide on pages 33 and 44. Excessive noise and vibration can be prevented by properly leveling the washer. Instructions on properly leveling your washer can be found on page 13 in your Use and Care guide.
