Design Flaw

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The dryer works great except for one pretty big engineering flaw. The previous version of this dryer had safety issue with the lint trap not capturing all the lint and causing a fire hazard. Electrolux fixed this issue by redesigning the lint trap. The lint trap now works well but, the new lint trap is so wide that it creates a "shelf". This design allows smaller/lighter items being dried to rest on the shelf and trip the Lint Trap Full limit switch and shut off the dryer before all items are dry. Not a problem with bigger items (i.e. towels, adult clothes, etc.) just small stuff (i.e. socks, underwear, kids clothes).
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great Features

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It’s been three weeks since we had the washer and dryer installed and they work great. We had a couple of loads that didn’t dry out as well as we expected but I guess it was due to the fact that we’re still learning the settings. Steam feature is awesome my heavy duty denim work pants are wrinkle free once folded
Ps. Cycles are longer than we expected but I guess we’ll see the energy efficiency in next month bill
