I was very excited to receive my new dryer. I am not completely dissatisfied but somewhat concerned about clothes getting caught up in the door window. This causes the clothing item not to toss thus coming out very wrinkled. This happens mainly when I have fewer items in the dryer. I am disappointed this is happening as everything else regarding this dryer is great. I am considering returning the dryer.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Washer is great, but DONT buy this dryer!!

I bought this dryer as a pair with the matching washer and absolutely love the washer! The dryer however has one major design flaw: Articles of clothing (T-Shirts, socks, and other smaller items) stay trapped on the lint filter resulting in not dry, wrinkled, and messed up clothing. I have tried everything from adding bulkier clothing, to even adding multiple towels try and alleviate the problem to no success. Really wishing we hadn’t spent 1200 dollars on a dryer where T-shirt’s come out looking like I squished them up, ran over them with my car, and left them there overnight. Extremely disappointed.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Bought the Electrolux dryer a month ago and returned it.. Clothes kept getting stuck on top of the lint screen vent causing a signal indicator to go off stating lint screen needed to be cleaned. screen was actually clean.

The Jury Is Still Out

I bought this just less than a month ago. The dryer is has a lot of options and is quiet. However, small articles of clothing fall onto the filter vent and remain there, resulting in the dryer stopping and notifying you to clean the filter. I have reviewed this with Electrolux and the representative immediately sent me a new filter within days, thinking that there was something not right with the original one that came with the appliance. I have been running the dryer with the same problem. Small clothing articles fall over the filter and remain there, resulting in a stopped dryer with damp clothing. I need to get back to the company on this one. Not sure yet, if I would recommend this product. I would like a resolution to this so I can rate the appliance at a higher level.

New dryer

I am not loving my new Electrolux dryer. Some of the clothes seem to come to rest on the wide piece that the lint tray goes in and do not tumble. Also, I have taken many loads out where not all of the items are dry despite even using the towel cycle. My old dryer might do that occasionally but I could add another 8 minutes - but this one seems to do it each load and I can only add 30 minutes!!

Quiet, excellent lint trap

We've used the dryer for 3 weeks. When drying small loads the clothes tend to bunch up and stay on the large ledge that is the top of the lint trap. This is despite using wool drying balls. Even the balls line up on top of the lint trap. Additionally, the auto dry sensor is not accurate, shutting off when the clothes are too damp to consider dry and safe to fold.
However, if your dryer vent has an extended exhaust hose (which can be a fire hazard) this dyer is for you. The lint catcher is excellent, double filtered and fine.

Dryer performs poorly with small & med. loads

I wish I could recommend this dryer, but after months of use, research for solutions on the internet, and repair visits, I have come to the conclusion that the dryer is operating as designed. There is a major flaw that allows clothing to stack in the front, keeping it from drying. You have to constantly monitor and adjust load to get it to dry. We paid top dollar for a top of the line dryer. However, this dryer gets outperformed by even the cheapest out there.
