Not Perfect

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It washes beautifully. The issues I have are that the door doesn't line up to close correctly, and I have to lift the door up for it to seat into the latch. I have called for service on this and they said I just have "to lift the door slightly to have it close without banging!". The dryer doesn't do this. Also, there is a delayed reaction when turning the knob to select the washing cycles. It's annyoning, but doesn't effect function, just irritating. Also, occasionally a sock will get stuck in the rubber ring space where it drains...but I like that it tells me when to run a drum washing cycle.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

A dryer that works

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The last couple of dryers I’ve owned did a very poor job of actually drying clothing, especially towels. This machine does the job the first time. The refresh feature is great for items that are hung up to dry.

Gets the Job Done

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am pleased that I've finally found a dryer that dries my clothes. I've owned other brands before that I had to run double the time to dry a load. The Electrolux Gas Dryer gets it done, it also has a great lint trap that catches all the lint in a "cage" that is easy to clean.

The Bentley of Dryers

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have dried a spectrum of fabrics in my Electrolux dryer, from cotton sheets to delicate tops, and every time my laundry load comes out perfect. The sheets have minimum wrinkles, and the delicates are unharmed. It is also very quiet and fast.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] A dryer is a dryer in my mind, so the fact that it does what it should is what I expect. Reliability will be the long-term decider. Easy to install and dries well. Controls are easy, and I can mute the notification that a load is done I like all of the different options. Ability to change the door opening direction was HUGE and relatively easy (although you MUST have a SQUARE bit, not Phillips, which isn't easy). Lastly, I liked the lint trap that appears to avoid that build-up that gets stuck in the bottom of the opening. Frustrating to have to get a special kit or connections to 'Y' the cold water line for the steam function. I wish it would (standard) have come with the metal shelf so I could dry a pair of shoes in the middle. All-in-all, it looks great and my kids love it.
