Cleans well

Easy to use great features

Seems to be working great so far. We have a dog and cat and it really seems to get all the hair out of the clothes and their bedding.

Dries fine

It dries OK but is very noisy. It ticks very loudly and bangs randomly. I think mine might be defective.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The dryer drum is supported by a set of suspension rollers. At times there may be a thumping or rolling sound when the dryer starts. This may happen if the dryer has not been in use for a period of time, or after a heavy load has remained in the dryer drum for an extended period, creating a temporary flat spot on the roller. The noise should dissipate as the dryer operates and the flat spot smoothes out.

VERY HAPPY WITH MY PURCHASE

We bought a matching set 3 weeks ago, replacing a 14 year old Bosch NEXXT set.
Sp pleased with the performance of both, the color (black) is beautiful. I wanted a white set but was turned off by the shiny chrome doors - but they look great on this color. Both are so quiet. I used the auto dry once and had to reset so my stay is normal 30 minutes with no resets. Could not be happier with this entire purchase.

Big upgrade, quiet operation, and dry clothes

Bought this dryer three weeks ago after our old GE washer and dryer were in the process of tearing themselves apart. Rather than spending hundreds of dollars fixing cheap parts that would break again, we went ahead and splurged for something nice. Never had a front load or gas dryer before. But, especially with both this and the matching resting on pedestals to get to a more convenient loading/unloading height, the answer is very well indeed. (Also looking forward to cost savings over time using gas instead of electricity.) The unit dries very nicely, and lint collector works quite well (big improvement over the dryer we replaced). There is just a trace of lint sometimes left around the front face of the unit when opening the door as well as around the inside of the rubber seal on the door itself. Only minor nits otherwise: 1) it took three visits to get the steam kit hose hooked up (the first leaked, the second got a leak in the seal while screwing on, but happily the third worked like a charm), 2) when I dried some bathroom mats, one edge got jammed inside the rim of the drum and had to be pulled out with some force, resulting in minor damage to the mat backing but--as far as I can tell--nothing permanent to the dryer, 3) it is a bit strange that instead of having an on/off switch for the signal mute/unmute, you have to hold down the select button for 3 seconds and that no visual indication is given if the signal is on or off (esp. since the tone emitted when the select button is held down is not diagnostic to my ears anyway).

I have had this dryer for a little over a month and am still trying out all the features. My only problem so far is getting the towels dry if they are mixed in with other clothes. But I am figuring that out.
