lint trap is no good

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using this dryers for only 6 weeks and have major issues. The dryer is currently not working. The lint trap clamshell has a very poor design. The holes on the top(the intake) are large. The clothes are able to hook the holes of the clamshell and pull it from its slot. This causes the clothes to get stuck in the dryer inside tub. This becomes a fire and safety issue at this point. Now I have no dryer. The repairman cant look at it for a week. Very disappointed. The dealer told me this is a very common problem and it may not be covered under warranty. I think this lint trap clamshell should be recalled and redesigned. I will make every effort to warn people about this issue

Decent

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It’s a decent washer dryer but falls short compared to Samsung that we had in the last house .. it doesn’t do a good job adjusting washing and dying smartly based on load and the air dry is a big disappointment but it does get the job done and has all the functions you need in a modern washer dryer

Fabulous Dryer!

We purchased the dryer that has the drying sensor..Also there is a great 15 minute dry option...also there is a steam option ..too many options too list! Great sleek look! As, I stated with the washer ,just have to mention installer said the backs of these Gertrude a bid more than other dryers.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m not sure If this has happened to anyone else but during the drying cycle, the filter somehow comes out by itself and socks or small items fall in the opening. In the 2 months we’ve had this dryer it’s already happened 4 times. I wonder if it’s a manufacturer defect?

When the appliance works it is a great unit. If you ever experience a technical issue or failure that is were the nightmare starts…the service is terrible, techs do not show if they do I don’t believe they have a proper training to correctly identify the issue and address it!
I would recommend this to a friend!
