Long Dry Time

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Thus is my 1st gas dryer and I'm extremely disappointed in the dry time. I turned the eco mode off and it seemed to help but still takes much longer than my older Kenmore electric dryer.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Thank you for sharing with us, TNorris. We’re sorry to hear the drying times have been less than satisfactory, and we wanted to see if we could help improve this for you. Try double checking that cycles such as Air Fluff or Air Dry aren’t selected as they do not use heat. You can also try adjusting the load size, making sure to leave room for items to tumble freely. We normally recommend filling the dryer’s drum 1/3 to 1/2 full. From there, make sure the exhaust duct isn’t crushed or twisted and that it’s the correct length (note that longer exhaust ducts may increase the drying time). Works Great!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Dries very well, we especially like the lint trap, since it is totally enclosed the lint doesn't get past it and into the vent duct so we don't have to clean out the trap on the outside of the house any more.
