This is my 2nd Genesis grill. We live by the ocean, and the base on the first one started to corroded so I gave it to my son who lives away from the salt air and bought the 2nd one. The first grill was in otherwise perfect condition and never once failed me. I chose to assemble the grills myself and it's actually fun. The instructions are clear and all the parts get used... none of the dreaded "dang, where was that supposed to go" comments. You will need two people to lift the heavy cook chamber onto the base, but other than that, it can be a one-person job. The grill lights every time and cooks great. I do wish the grates were smoother which would make moving food around and cleaning easier afterwards, but aside from that, I love this grill and will likely buy a 3rd one in a couple of years when the base on this one starts to rust.
You cant beat the quality of the materials and the way it cooks. Cooks very evenly with no flare ups. I wish they gave the thermometer feature with this grill form the money you spend but its a quick upgrade.
Love it! Love it! Love it! My husband put it together the day after it arrived (and I cannot day enough nice things about the gentleman who delivered it into our garage). Today was the first time we cooked on it and it was actually fun! Enough space to cook everything and some left over. We had been using a Weber Spirit for several years and it was nice but there is really no comparison. If you’re on the fence about buying the Genesis, do it. Wonderful!
I recently purchased this grill to replace my 15 year old Weber Genesis that got damaged in a big storm. While it wasn't cheap, it really is true that you get what you pay for. It is very solid, incredibly well made, and the heat this thing puts out is unbelievable. Highly recommend!
Real gass grill i finally bought a real grill shold never hve put it off. Got it with rotisserie and griddle. Dont put off getting the real deal. Beautiful addition to the pool patio.
