I've used a Weber for thirty years...great grills and admirable support. Now I've purchased the Genesis II E-435. It exceeds expectations. First, it has Four main vertical burners, an additional burner between burner three and four to create a "searing" section. Also, Hot plate type burner on the right side. The only thing it needs, is a place for my iGrill. I found a place where a plastic plate had an iGrill Decal. I attached a magnet there with 3M tape and it's perfect for the iGrill. Wish Weber had a Metal plate to put there as the iGrill has a magnetic bottom.
This is a huge, highly functional grill that will meet most grilling needs. Starting with putting the grill together, this is a two-person job. So please make sure you have someone available to assist you. Also, make sure to download the "BILT" app. The BILT app is awesome! You are able to rotate your grill in 3D, see what is going on, and there is no guess work as to what you read and how you interpret what the instructions are telling you to do. Moving on to grilling, this thing heats up quickly and its ability to maintain a constant temperature makes it perfect for rotisserie grilling. Now, the rotisserie is an accessory, so this will be an extra cost that I highly recommend that you buy. So far I've done rotisserie veggies, rotisserie chicken, and rotisserie St. Louis ribs. All 3 items came out juicy, flavorful, and tender, so make sure to place a foil container directly on top of the "Flavorizer Bars" to catch the juices, thereby making clean up a breeze. I haven't used the sear station yet, but I plan to do a porterhouse steak on the sear station in the very near future. The sear station which is used in conjunction with the two burners on the immediate left and right of the sear station gets very hot (I found this out when I did the recommended initial burn off). WOW! I just know that I will achieve outstanding grill marks! Finally, and adding to the functionality of the grill, is the side burner. The side burner is perfect for many side dishes and sauces that you might make to compliment your grilling experience. Overall, just an awesome, well thought out, and well engineered grill. Looking forward to many outdoor grilling activities with my dear family and friends.
Couldnt be happier with the grill. We use it every week now. My biggest issue is all the extra family and friends coming over for cookouts. I need a bigger grill. And with the Weber grill grate cleaner it still looks like new
The grill is absolutely beautiful! I was able to put it together with relative ease even though there were a few bent pieces. Only real complaint is that the plastic battery holder appeared to be melted and I am unable to use the electric igniter. Tried returning to the store and they said I needed to speak with the manufacturer. Sent a few emails to Weber but haven’t heard anything since.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Hi Jacob! Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback, we are sorry to hear about the bent pieces and your igniter button. We surely would not expect this on a new grill and we would be more than happy to assist you with this! We have reached out to you via email to offer assistance. Thanks!
This is an awesome grill. I bought this one for the lake house. I prefer the natural gas because I don’t have to stop in the middle of cooking because I ran out of LP. I have the summit at home which is also natural gas .... in my opinion the only way to go assuming you get a gas line outside It did take a little to put together but it is soooooo worth it. Trust me ....for me to take the time to write a review ITS SO WORTH EVERY PENNY I wouldn’t buy anything but a Weber. Don’t be fooled with the other products on the market. They will not hold up like a Weber does
The Webber grill is nice and big, however, the design of the lid is not made very well. The grill does not get hot fast and on windy days, the flame blows out continuously because of the gap on the back of the lid. Which makes cooking times longer.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Hello, Thank you for being a loyal Weber fan! We are sorry to hear about your disappointment with the heating. On cold days it may take a bit longer to preheat but it should be able to reach desired temperatures. However, we will certainly pass this information along to our developing team! We hope you get many great meals off of it and if you have concerns or questions please feel free to contact us at support@weberstephen.com. Thanks!
After years of working with an aging grill, this new Genesis has been a revelation. It is a breeze to ignite, the grill heats up rapidly, and controlling the temperature is straightforward. My first few grilling efforts have all been a success.
