Assembly has a lot of parts, but was not difficult. Well worth the time putting it together. High quality grill. Cooking on this Weber grill is a pleasure.

We bought the grill two months ago and have used it a dozen times already between my wife and I. I don’t like the side shelves not having a insert tray to protect the stainless steel. Plastic end caps on the shelves are cheap looking. The doors open too far and can become scratched when opened all the way- should have stops. The scale mechanism for the tank isn’t very accurate and can get scratched by the propane tank. Grill looks great and easily heats up to 510 degrees F. Left side wheels are too small and makes it tough to push on a wood deck. Side burner has been very useful and heats up quickly.
I bought this amazing grill last month and it is simply amazing. The grill is big and can handle almost any size portion of meat. Heats up within a few minutes and cooks very even.
This is my 2nd Genesis grill. We live by the ocean, and the base on the first one started to corroded so I gave it to my son who lives away from the salt air and bought the 2nd one. The first grill was in otherwise perfect condition and never once failed me. I chose to assemble the grills myself and it's actually fun. The instructions are clear and all the parts get used... none of the dreaded "dang, where was that supposed to go" comments. You will need two people to lift the heavy cook chamber onto the base, but other than that, it can be a one-person job. The grill lights every time and cooks great. I do wish the grates were smoother which would make moving food around and cleaning easier afterwards, but aside from that, I love this grill and will likely buy a 3rd one in a couple of years when the base on this one starts to rust.
