We bought our Genesis 2 for Father’s Day this year as a replacement for our Genesis 1. it’s a pleasure to BBQ with Genesis. Great even heat and the sear burner does the job. We are still learning how to effectively use each section of the grill. First time grilling on cast iron grills(as opposed to stainless) and I like the good grill marks. I would definitely make the same purchase again.
I bought this grill to replace my 19 year old Weber. This unit is much larger. I've cooked steaks, ribs and chicken and it has been a pleasure to cook on. At the age of 70 plus I put this unit together without any additional help. The hard part was putting the heavy lid on the unit. Otherwise it was very entertaining to put together.
Great grill - sear station is awesome - very little flare up even when cooking rib eye steaks. If hooking up to your central LP tank be sure to have your propane company install a seperate regulator and set it to 14 inches of water column (standard for home appliance and furnace is 11 inches)
We had bought a grill at Costco that we were not happy with. We returned it and bought our new Weber and we love it. We use the grill for our business grilling hamburgers and hot dogs at events and it works great!
I would recommend this to a friend!

I am a 15 year multiple Weber owner who rebuilds them to make them last longer and that is a great option. I recently purchased (2 months) a E-435 NG that I use on an upper deck with a view. Two issues, the quick disconnect gas fitting allows one to easily disconnect the gas line to move grill when not in use, however, there is no provision to conveniently store the gas hose to the grill. A simple hose storage holder could have been easily included. My earlier Genisis model allowed the hose to be pushed back into the cabinet, not so on newer version. Maybe a good idea for an accessory product. Second issue is replacing the caster wheels on rear legs. The fixed axel wheels are much more difficult to maneuver a large grill in a confined space. Why that change was made is beyond me. The four caster version made maneuvering a cinch. Even if you didn't disconnect the grill each use, just moving to clean under it is much more difficult with the fixed rear wheels. Still a great product.
We bought this a few months ago and we love it. It’s the best grill. It grills everything perfectly. We have one at our second home and said we need to get one for our main home between love it so much. We especially love that it doesn’t have those fake briquettes!
