It doesn’t get hot enough. Not sure why but the grill doesn’t heat up

Hello, we are sorry to hear that your grill is not reaching desired temperatures. Would you mind following these steps the next time you use your grill? Step number 5 plays an essential role in troubleshooting. I suggest using your timer on your phone. 1. Open the lid 2. Make sure all knobs are in the off position. 3. Fully disconnect your tank from the rubber hose and reconnect it. 4. Open your LP tank slowly, fully open. 5. Wait one full minute-60 seconds, no longer than 1 minute and 30 seconds. 6. Turn the first burner to start/high (first position to the left) 7. Hit your igniter 8. Turn on all remaining burners 9. Close the lid to preheat to 500-550°F Please give this a try, and if you continue to have the same issues or have any questions, please reach out to us. We are happy to help! Thanks!
I assembled myself, instructions were ok, there is room for improvement. The section where the lines are run and where is not great. Once I got it together it fired up properly the first time and we grilled fine. The right side is way hotter than the left due to the placement of the burners and we learned that the hard way :-) I cant believe they don't give you a cover to your grill on such a high price tag item like a grill.
This grill is very disappointing I made a mistake had 10 yr old 3 burner Weber loved it ! My wife wanted to buy me a new grill for my birthday ! To much grill for me and hate the design not a fan of the cooking grates either ? Heating is not even Don’t grill as much as I used to ! Last Weber I ever buy !!
I’m unhappy because the website is extremely misleading. I was 100% sure I had chosen natural gas yet it was the gas tank version that I “actually” selected. The title should not say “Gas” it should say the specific type. Not sure why they had to be so sneaky about it.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Hello, thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We are sorry to learn about the trouble with ordering the gas type of choice. Your feedback about the title is greatly appreciated, and we have passed it on to our design team. For future reference, our Natural gas grills will have it on the title as well. We can see that you spoke with your support team. If you have questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to reach out! Thank you!
Grill takes too long to preheat, waisting propane in the process. The burners and the tents are too low beneath the cooking grates and the smoke grates are below the flame, so this does not add that smoky flavor (they are again too low beneath the cooking grate surface). The burners are too far apart and the 4 burners should have really been a five separate burners for the size of the cooking surface. The heat loss when cooking with the lid open makes quality BBQ cooking almost impossible. Generally poor quality overall, the fit and finish is cheap, and without a way to raise the flames and bump up the flavor factor, I am very disappointed in this grill.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Thank you for taking your time to provide feedback on your Genesis II E-435. We are very sorry that you are disappointed in the quality of the grill. These suggestions will be forwarded to the appropriate people. It is usually recommended to keep the lid closed during cooking, so there is no loss of heat for quality BBQ results. If there are any problems with achieving optimal temperature or maintaining heat, we would be able to help with troubleshooting steps to help alleviate the issue. There is also a very generous 10 year warranty on this particular grill in case there is a need for replacement parts. Please contact us in case you have any further questions.
The grilling slats are spaced too far apart - my hamburger slipped through the slats and ended up in the drip pan below!! And the stainless steel handle gets super hot!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Hi, thank you for taking the time to share your feedback! We are sorry to hear about your experience with the cooking grates and lid handle! We recommend using heat-resistant gloves during use as the lid can get hot during use. If you are not already, we encourage you to use your spatula on an angle when flipping your burgers to reduce the chance of them slipping through the grate. If you continue to experience this issue, please contact us! We are happy to help! Thank you!

Heats up fast and cooks evenly..Received grill already put together. Pins that held the big wheels on are to big. Caught on wheel and pulled out. Wheel came off. Put flat washer and cotter pins in to fix. Minor but a inconvenience on such an expensive grill. Love the porcelain grates, but spacing is wide and lets small items fall through. Grill is over priced. Could have bought 3 good grills for the price of this one. Came with no LP tank or Cover. Time will tell if worth the money.
I don't know yet how the grill is because I haven't been able to use it yet. I received it and as soon as we opened the box we noticed the top corner piece of the grill box was broke off and inside the box. It took me 5 day's to get in touch with someone even though I sent 2 emails left my callback phone number 5 times held on phond for 1 hr 13 minutes than was hung up on. I finally just got the replacement box and if course was told no big thing to change it out. Well maybe not gif them but for an individual yes it is. They should have just sent me a whole new grill. For the amount of money I spent on this grill it isn't starting out very good.
