I bought this last month and we are very impressed. Very fast to come to temp; holds its temp well. Easy to clean and plenty of grill area. A very fine unit and a credit to the Weber Brand, and your design team. It also helps that the retailer--Cornell's True Valu--assembled it, delivered it and walked me through it.
I’ve had this grill for about two months and love grilling on it. I previously owned a Weber natural gas grill which I loved. We moved and natural gas wasn’t an option so we have propane. This grill cooks a little hotter than the natural gas and took some experimentation. I have adjusted and love this grill especially the searing feature which cooks steaks hamburgs fish and sausages perfectly. The only knock is that you have to use the starter to ignite each burner. My previous grill just started by turning on the gas for the desired burner. I wonder if this feature will cause the igniter to wear out prematurely.
For a portable grill this is the best! High quality materials, plenty of flexibility utililizing six different burners. The app is great to use as well. The grilling recipes are spot on. It is so good looking and functional, I am proud to show this grill off to my friends and family. My only complaint was the not so perfectly designed angles of the gas line regulator and hose that made it difficult to put together. Once I tweaked that into place it's been perfect. You can't go wrong buying this grill!
I generally like it. Certainly, it cooks well and with far fewer flame-ups. The surface is large enough for guests. And I really like the fold-up / down warmer shelve for buns etc. And it has some high quality features. However, I do not like the hooks Weber has on the side since they don't fit standard kitchen tools. I will install some good stainless S hooks on the front left side, carefully spaced and drilled. And I would have preferred some of the features on the next models up, e.g., tank inside and more stainless steel. I am not convinced that the steak searing burner system works very well, it's OK.
We purchased this four burner stainless steel Weber gas grill a month ago the performance so far has been excellent looking forward to having it many many years !
Webers are a bit of a splurge, but if you do a lot of outdoor cooking, it's worth it. Most of the components are stainless steel and the grill itself, usuallly the first to go, is thick and should last a lifetime. Seems to cook evenly and well. Gets up to 650 degrees so we used it to make pizza (on a stone) and it worked very nicely. I have a lot of praise for this BBQ, and only two minor complaints: 1. I'm not a fan of having te proane tank exposed, but no biggie. 2. While it's fairly easy to assemble, there's a LOT to assemble and it may take you a couple of hours. 4.5 stars
