Been using my new grill, which replaced a still functioning 15 yrs + Weber, for several months now and truly love it. Such high quality and workmanship. Love the Stainless, especially the SS grates. Use the side burner much than I though I would. I added the Weber LED light to the handle and the iGrill 3 system. Could not have made a better choice - get yours today!
Great purchase. I wanted a large size to cook for a big group and this one has the “28 Burger” count size and also 4 burners and side burner for making blackened salmon. Also has the 5th burner as a “Searing Station” which is great for getting a char on vegetables or meat. Also wanted stainless steel and a closed door storage below. The Weber Genesis II S-435 was the best combination of quality and features, and price based on my research. This puts you in the $1,200-$1,500 range. I could see the value of the $2,200-$2,500 range of models for my needs.
Purchase a Genesis Ii S-435 about two months ago with iGrille and I’m really happy I did. iGrille helps me grilles steaks, chicken, burgers, and corn to perfection and I great compliments like never before from all my guests. The app for my phone has been invaluable. I’m happy I got the stainless steel as the grates heat up quickly, make great sear marks and clean easily. The S-435 is the perfect size when I I have 10-12 guests over.
I grill often. I use my barbecue so as not to turn the oven on in the summer so this becomes not only my barbecue but my oven as well. I can be very exact with The temperature when cooking with indirect heat and not burn and barbecue items. All in all I’m very pleased with my Weber grill.
This is my second Weber because my first one lasted close to 20 years. This new Weber shows the improvements and quality I expected. The real show starts when you fire it up. Even, clean, solid cooking, lid up or down. Real steak searing with the temp easily in the 700-800F ranges! Looking forward to many years of great grilling. Thanks Weber!
I love this grill: lots of cooking area, cleans up easily, and probably the best grill you can get before getting into the ridiculously expensive ones.
I've never before owned or used a propane grill; always a Weber charcoal kettle. This was a housewarming gift when we moved from Chicago to Georgia. Now that we can cook outdoors year-round, this is especially nice as an outdoor kitchen. I can decide to grill, light it myself instantly (66 yr-old woman), cook the food, and clean up so quickly and easily without the planning ahead and unpredictability of charcoal. Also, the flavorizer bars really do add a nice grilled flavor to the food. Also, I love that it can be used as an oven, with temperature gauge on the front, and can heat bread on the upper rack while grilling meat or veggies.
