Our second weber Another fine piece of equipment. The first weber is a 2 burner we use in the winter. We cannot get to our outdoor kitchen where the new one is located after the first snow fall. The 2 burner is kept near the door on the patio in winter.
This grill is so well designed, well made and built from such high quality materials that it has exceeded my expectations in every way. Assembled it myself so I know how it all goes together with a precision fit. Been cooking on it for 2 months now and I couldn’t be happier with the cook quality and consistency! It’s not an inexpensive grill but for me it’s either buy nice or buy twice. Get the nice...you won’t be disappointed.
I bought this grill about two months ago and could not be happier! It cooks like a dream! I can actually run back into my kitchen and prepare other items without all my food going up in smoke on the grill! I did hotdogs on the top warming rack and it cooked them to perfection. Love this item! Very pleased with my hubby's choice after he completed quite a bit of research.
I always do quite a bit of research before making a major purchase, and this purchase was no different. My last grill was an all stainless steel, top of the line, Sterling Forge (Chinese-made) grill that lasted 21 years.
Seeing that my house fronts a salt-water bay I need a grill that can stand up to many years of salt water exposure. The Weber fits the bill. I did a hands-on comparison with several different grills and the Weber always came out on top. It's components are heavier, better built, and have a superior design.
The Weber name connotes quality and durability.
The downside? The cost. It is hard to accept the initial cost, but when you consider this purchase should last 20 years then it is easy to justify. The lifetime warranty is icing on the cake.
