The grill is quality. It gets to 600 degrees plus with all burners lit in summertime. I added the searing grate but really it isn’t needed. The biggest drawback is that the tank is not hidden on the side and it takes away from the clean look, especially if you get a rusty looking tank on local exchange.
The four burners is perfect for regulating where you want the heat to be and the searing burner works well.
I thought there was going to be more space then needed but if you grill like me you have multiple items going at once (meat on one side, veggies on another) so you really can not have enough space.
Get extra propane if you use all the burners as the gas goes quick.
I love this grill so much and am incredibly happy that I splurged and went with the larger 4-burner model. Even though I don't typically have large cookouts, I've already taken advantage of the larger grilling area because it's easier to maneuver food around. When I cooked two large racks of ribs, the grill gave me enough space to flip them without having to worry about having the food hit the edge of the grill and mess it up with bbq sauce. I have yet to use the side burner but I know when we lose power and I can't use the range inside, the grill and side burner will prove invaluable. I had considered a less expensive grill but knew in my heart that I really wanted only a Weber. I had my previous Weber gas grill for 16 years until I moved and gave it away and have missed it ever since. I have other friends with a Weber grill that was 25 years old, and they sold it along with their home because it was still working impeccably. Weber is the only way to go for me and grills.
Love it. Thought maybe the 4-burner grill would be too big but it's not at all. Just allows you to do a lot more at the same time. It heats up fast, the sear station works as advertised, the internal temp is very responsive to adjustments. Couldn't be happier so far...
