So far, pretty good. With a total of four main burners, I was able to make some outstanding Baby back ribs and very good steaks with perfect grill marks. My only major complaint would be the cooking grates are stainless steel. Everything sticks to them even with cooking spray. I would much prefer cast iron with porcelain coating. (Past experience). One other thing is the top rail that goes across the back is flimsy. I leaned on it to put on a shoe and almost bent it. I don't lean on it anymore.
Great BBQ. With 4 burners, I can adjust temperature levels of zones on the grill to cook different foods at once with heat settings. For example, I was able to cook Filet Mignon steaks on one part of the grill while cooking chicken skewers on another part of the grill and cooking each food type to perfection. Love this grill. Plenty of capacity to cook a lot of hamburgers and warm buns at the same time. Nicely built BBQ. Agree with some comments that a BBQ of this price and luxury level should have less plastic fasteners to hold it together. Took some effort to assemble but it’s sturdy and looks good.
Our twelve year old Genesis Gold needed new parts again, so we decided it was better to put that money into a new grill with a larger cooking surface. I really like the grates on this grill, the food sticks less. I also like that the tank hangs on the side, instead of sitting on the ground. It makes moving the grill much easier. The all stainless body is very attractive.
I do with there had been a model without the side burner. I never used it on a grill I had many years ago, and was happy that the Gold had the option to just have two shelves instead.
