the lid moving sideways during up/down operations

My Only issue.....The lid, which rotates on a pin, can slide sideways (a small amount) during up/down operations. This causes the lid to not close tightly on occasion.
A different pin design (less play) or hinging method could eliminate the issue.

Best Grill Ever!

Have been looking at this grill for sometime and thanks to my stimulus check was able to make the purchase. This is the fourth Weber grill I’ve owned and they keep getting better. The ordering & shipping was extremely fast! I had my grill in less than five days from order date. The shipping company was also great as they were able to drop the box off in my garage. Assembly took me roughly 3 1/2 hours but I was taking my time, I did have to run a tap through a couple of the screw holes to clean up threads but in no way was that a dealbreaker. I also used thread lock on all the screws to keep everything tight.
My last grill which I assembled lasted me 17 years so I’m confident this one will last just as long if not longer. As far as the grilling goes I’ve cooked numerous things so far and everything has come out excellent I did a whole chicken a few nights ago and everybody commented that it was the best they ever had.
Don’t pay attention to the negative reviews this will be the best grill you ever buy!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Has an annoying problem

This is a good grill, well made and heats up fast. But as always seems to be, there is an annoying problem and when you pay top dollar for a Weber, there should not be any annoying problems. So because of this, it only gets three stars. It is advertised as the burners will light on the first try every time. Well that is not true. I have to keep trying to light the far left burner over and over to get it to light. This is the burner farthest away from the propane tank, so I haven't been able to figure out if it is a gas flow problem, or an ignitor problem. I usually end up lighting the others to heat up the grill first and then lighting the left one after the parts are already hot. I paid top dollar for weber quality, but only got same old low end problems. I have not called to complain as of yet, because I do not have the time to wait around for a repair person to show up, nor do I really want someone taking a brand new grill apart to fix it, because as you all know from experience, something is always damaged when they do this. (Did you ever notice that they always put parts or tools on the side shelves scratching the stainless)
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Broken after 3uses

Bought my Weber genesis II 435 a month ago and now I have to cook my steaks on a pan inside. The gas line is leaking after 3 times grilling. NOT IMPRESSED!

Its a beautiful thing

This grill is everything I was expecting it to be. Its stunning to look at and very well built. It only took about an hour to assemble it the directions were very clear. I splurged on this grill because I was tired of having cheap grills that only last a couple years. I grill all year round wether its -10°f or 110°f. This grill is worth every penny and then some. And you cant beat then 10 warranty. Thanks weber for providing a true quality product and standing behind it!

Poor wheel design. Poor maneuverability

It’s fine. Very clunky to move around. Wheel design is terrible. The back two wheels don’t rotate. I just got grill and needed to replace back cart wheel within 3 weeks. Also starter system makes no sense. Need to light all burners from left to right and they eliminated the manual start access “hole” which is annoying. Overall, the grill will work for me, but I’m disappointed in the grill maneuverability especially in tight spaces at this high price point.

I've used the grill a couple of times now and it works perfectly. Assembly took a couple of hours. The grill heats up fast and cooks food evenly. The mechanical gauge which shows the propane level is a really useful feature. I also used the iGrill bluetooth temperature sensor. It was easy to pair with my phone and get temperature readings.
