Well the first one I purchased was delivered with a badly damaged outer shell. Second one was perfect except for the 7 flavor bars were missing. Good news is that after calling Weber to report the flavor bars were missing, they sent me new ones within a couple of days. Overall, except for the above problems, fairly easy to assemble, and works great. Just would like to know best way to clean the SS parts without blotching/smearing. If I were to do it over again, would probably buy the BBQ with the enameled CI shell as it would be easier to clean.
takes forever to heat up and is no where near as good as my weber was 15 years ago. very disappointing. Quality has deteriorated and that’s a surprise. Weber is no longer the standard as you are now cutting corners from the flavor bars to the grill to the hood. cheap!!

Hello! Thank you for being a longtime loyal Weber fan! We are sorry to hear about the disappointment with the quality of your new Genesis II S-435 and gas issues. We certainly do not expect this and assure you this grill is backed with a generous 10-year warranty on all parts! The unit should not take long to heat up as described. Next time you use your grill, please follow these steps. 1. Open the lid 2. Make sure all knobs are in the off position. 3. Fully disconnect your tank from the rubber hose and reconnect it. 4. Open your LP tank slowly fully open. 5. Wait one full minute-60 seconds, no longer than 1 minute and 30 seconds. 6. Turn the first burner to start/high (first position to the left) 7. Hit your igniter 8. Turn on all remaining burners 9. Close the lid to preheat to 500-550°F
