I've been in our home 20 years, this is my 4th grill. Both of the last were SS, and failed, talk to me in 5 years to wee if this Weber w/10 year warranty holds up to the elements. So far the "sear" feature is cool, and works well. Thx EPW
I have been cooking on this grill for 1.5 months now and I find it is easy to cook on and get great results. Cleaning the grill has been easy also. I was surprised how simple cleaning up the accumulated grease could be and how only a little grease remained on this unit to be cleaned. Cleaning a grill is definitely not my favorite task. Even though fall is here and winter is coming, grilling plans our in our future. We want to try slow cooking and smoking recipes.
I upgraded my 20+ year old Weber to this larger one with a few more features. The user instructions are easy to follow. I did not put the grill together myself but learning to use it was easy.
Owned previous generation genesis grill for 11 years. Decided to replace this year, so looked at a lot of “upgrades” in the $3000 range. Blaze, AOG, and Delta were top 3. I even traveled all over state to see those grills in person. When it came time to pull the trigger though, I bought the Weber 435 SS. I asked myself what can those other grills do that this Weber can’t? Nothing, and why spend an extra $1700 for nothing, and I know how to cook on a Weber for excellent results. Sear station is a nice add and I also bought the igrill 3 which has been much better then standalone products have used before. Had read Weber might have cheapened some of the materials, but magnet test shows 314 Stainless on all stainless parts. My older genesis actually had cheaper side tables bc magnet stuck to them. Very happy with the purchase and it gets used 2-3 times a week minimum.
