We had gone through a number of grills over the years - trying to save money. Big mistake. We entertain enough now that we needed a big size, and our grill master friends told us to get a Weber. Wish we had purchased one years ago. It's fantastic!
This grill replaces a Q300 due to entertaining more. It gives me much more real estate to get food on the table quickly. First grill was rotisserie chicken which turn out great. Only issue was the sear burner would not ignite. You could get it going by using a match, but the first three holes on the burner still would not produce a flame. Called customer service and had a replacement burner on the way. It would nice if Weber ditch the inaccurate hood thermometer. I know they sell the iGrill 3 but having a built in digital accurate thermometer is really needed. Also a powerful waterproof grill light is also needed. This grill didn’t come with any light. The light they do sell got horrible reviews, mainly not water proof and not bright.
We rented a house in Georgia that included this Grille. After using it I had to get one for myself, retiring my 10 year old first weber. Cooks Great. Great features!
Love this grill I was going to buy some grill grates for it to make it like true infrared for a better sear on steaks but its totally unnecessary great grill marks and sear every time
I've owned many other grills in the past including weber and all I have to say is this is the best I've owned. Assembly went without any hiccups was a much better experience this time around. As for the price, yes it is expensive but you get what you pay for.
A bit pricey but worth every penny. Assembling was easy except of a few steps, like removing and installing the lid. This grill though can reach 700F in about 10 minutes or less. It can sear a steak with ease and cleaning it is also easy.
