I love the grill. I've been a Weber owner for over 20 years and this is my 3rd. My only issue this time around is I called for help on a bent right door (ticket #973605) on April 24th, the day I got the grill, and I have received no response at all other than the confirmation email.
I had a Weber Genesis II which I loved. It was very maneuverable. The 4 wheels rotated 360 degrees when rolling it around which I had to do to move it under my deck overhang when it rained and I wanted to grill. This grill has two stationary wheels making it very difficult to move. I like the grates better on this grill, easier to clean and one igniter is nice. Does not seem to get as hot as my old grill but I really don't need anything cooked at 700 degrees.
The pictorial guide featured in the instruction manual for assembly is at times difficult to understand. It is far easier to watch a You Tube assembly video. The electronic burners do not always ignite without multiple attempts. The propane gas consumption far exceeds the quantity that was consumed by my old Weber Summit grill. The temperature controls work well and the sear burner is outstanding. I like the drop down warming rack feature.
One year into ownership, I can say that I’m quite happy with this grill. Not to say it’s not without a few faults....First off, the grill is beautiful. Everyone comments on how much they like it. Operating the grill, it lights immediately. Love that. It comes up to temperature quite fast...and it gets hot. The stainless top has a nice weight to it, giving a high quality feel. Now the bad, the grilling surface has hot spots. With all the knobs set to the same temperature levels, not everything cooks at the same speed. You learn where they are and work with it. My biggest complaint about the grill is the weight (or lack there of) of the stainless steel doors and the weak magnets used to keep the doors closed. The doors, unlike the lid, seem thin and flimsy. The magnets used to keep them closed are barely enough to do the job. Other than these two complaints, I do love the grill and look forward to using it for the next decade.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Used first time yesterday with great results. Expect top quality and longevity from Weber, but why is tank exposed? Where grill is positioned, the first view of my new grill is the unfinished end; looks terrible. Is there a way to move tank inside, or cover the open unfinished end?
The grill doesn’t cook evenly. For the price of the grill, I expected the heat distribution to be perfect. Very disappointed.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Hello! We are sorry to hear about your disappointment with the heat distribution of your grill as this should not be the case. Please contact our support team for further assistance. Thanks!
The grill has been good so far. There are a few things I wished Weber would have addressed on the grill. the first being a tank cover, so it was not visible. The second is the side burner adjustment, I cannot turn it low enough to just warm any sauces for grilling. The sauce starts boiling and I have to tur it off. Other than that the parts seemed good quality and the assembly was easy.
Not sure if this is stainless or a different alloy. My prior Genesis which was stainless was magnetic and I had bottle opener and other stuff on it. This one is not magnetic which makes me question if truly stainless steel or another composite
Does not seem to get has hot as my prior genesis which is definitely impacting my cook times as I get used to this grill.
Definitely like the larger surface area and the steel grates. Given the large cook space I have replaced one grate with flat top which is great to option.
