According to the Weber grill ordering page, the grill would ship in 2 to 5 business days. It was ordered on June 4th, and the original arrival date was June 11. It then slipped to June 19th. So it is ridiculous to give a grill a rating when it hasn't even arrived. Weber - GYST.
I used my Weber silver series gas grill for 19 years. I would have used longer if I had time to get a replacement part before an 80 guests cookout happening in 3 days. My husband went out on an immediate search and my only request it must be Weber. He came home with the Genesis. I am hoping to have as much or even more longevity out of this beauty. The cookout was a success.

Problem after problem

I have the Genesis II in the Copper color. I purchased it 2 years ago. Last year I called about the flames getting extremely high. It got so hot that the cook box needed to be replaced because it bent it. I replaced the new cook box and then had issues with the flame not getting high enough. It's hard because they want to mail you everything to fix yourself. It took a long time to have the cook box shipped and now the same thing is happening. The flame gets extremely high. I clean the grill after every use. There was no meat inside. We turned it on and left it on for 5 minutes while we got the meat to put on from the kitchen and when we came back out the handle was hot and when we opened it the flames were really high. We immediately turned off switches and turned off the gas and undid the gas line and had to use the water hose to put out the flames. I own 3 weber grills and will not purchase again if all I get are parts and hopes that it will work properly.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Everything I was hoping for and more. Hi Quality - Super efficient grill. Reaches hi temps almost instantly. Very even distribution of heat. Searing burner + Optional Steak grill makes perfect - unbelievably great steaks.
