Parts were damaged upon opening the box. Replacement parts is taking too long to ship. Grill has been unusable for about a month now. Not the product that I expected for the money that I paid for because of this issue.

Hello, we are sorry to hear that your grill arrived with damaged parts and delayed receiving the replacement parts. This is certainly not the type of quality that we expect. We will reach out via email shortly to help with the tracking. Thanks!
Works great but a little slow to light. The searing section could be a little hotter as well. The aluminum tub gets so hot that you really cant keep things on the side shelf without them getting hot too. I had to set up a separate table. Fairly even cooking.
This is a decently built Grill and love how it cooks the food. The sear burner is a nice feature as well. I read lots and lots of reviews and was concerned that so many had mention not being able to get grill marks on their proteins, I found this not to be the case at all. Very simply put, if you properly preheat your grill this is not an issues. The one nitpicky little detail that is the lid getting stuck on the lower housing of the grill when lifting the handle biased to one side, there's small return wall on the lid and that catches the lower portion in this scenario. Customer service is great, as I did have a paint delaminating issue with the gas tank panels. I called about the issue and customer service was both pleasant and knowledgeable. I received the replacement parts 10 days later.
The gas valve has a leak detection built in. No sure how it works but switching gas tanks can cause an issue. Gas valve works only at a slow rate if it detects gas fumes. So mid grilling could not finish my steaks on the grill. This is a pain as it has to set and the gas fumes must clear before full gas flow resumes. Called support and they sent a new gas valve but in reading manual it is designed to lock out. So when switching tanks turn off gas valve on tank disconnect and let air circulate around hose connection. Reconnect quickly and then turn new tank valve on. Full gas should then flow. It's a pain.............old valves were just fine never had any issues.
Was hesitant at first as we cook out a lot and go through grills so we would get cheaper ones. This grill is awesome and more than worth the money. Would buy another in a heartbeat, but may never have to! LOL
I have a 14 year old Summit Grill which is showing it's age, and for which critical parts are no longer available. After building a new patio, I decided it was time for a new grill as well. I never use the rotisserie or smoker on the Summit, so I purchased a Genesis S-435 with stainless grids and a side burner. It has plenty of grilling surface, the side burner works well. Redesigned interior eliminates the part which rusted out on my Summit. I am very pleased with it!
