Have had this for a week now.. replaced a 30+ year old weber.. beautiful grill but the Premium Stainless steel grates to me are not Premium. Magnets should not stick to stainless but they do to all interior parts except the burners.. Cheaper stainless will be magnetic, so they will most likely rust down the road. My only complaint so far about this great looking grill.. By the way, my neighbor has the summit grill with true stainless grates..
Bought it pre-assembled -so- can't speak to what it would take to assemble it BUT it cooks amazing. I use the reverse sear method and leave the burners off on the left side and crank the 3 sear burners on the right side. When temp of the meat is close (cooking on the left) I transfer to the right side to get that wonderful grid pattern on the meat. I love this grill from the first cook on.
Love the grill except a leak in my gas hose and a wheel has already snapped. I sent in a warranty request six weeks ago and still have not heard back from Weber. In hindsight I should have gone with a smaller grill.
Excelent grill.Reach 600F very easily.Easy to clean.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Faulty Regulator Hose

Bought this brand new during Memorial weekend and was super excited to start grilling on my new Weber. Unfortunately the regulator hose that came with it was faulty and proceeded to leak gas like crazy. I sent in a request to get a new regulator hose and it had the same issue. I sent a request again but now I haven't heard anything back. Luckily for me I had another working regulator hose from my previous grill that works well. With that being said it is a great grill but I believe the regulator hoses that come with this are cheap.
1. Stainless steel cooking grates are hard to clean.
2. The grease management system is flawed. When you pull it out to clean it the collection tray is intergrated into the top storage shelf so you can’t easily scrape the grease into the tray.
Great grill components made with excellent materials. I do recommend putting the grill together yourself because even a great expensive grill can have some minor issues that the retailer who pre-assembles won’t fix. My grill had an issue with the bolts attaching the back of the grill box. They threaded in but would not tighten down. Customer service took care of it and I had a new part to fix the issue in a little over a week. I have used an older Weber In the past and had an issue with searing the food (could have been just the age) but not this one. It really surprised me how fast this grill preheated and the temperature it can put out. Absolutely no problems searing meat with the sear burner. I was easily able to dial in the temp I wanted. What a great and fantastic grill! The only reason I gave it four stars is because of the issue I had when putting it together. This is a five star grill all the way. Way to go Weber!
I was never the best at grilling, this grill makes it so easy to cook I can’t believe it! Perfect steaks every time, slow cook chicken till it falls off the bone. Super satisfied.
