If you are looking for just a basic coffee maker this is it. The most advanced feature is the timer feature. This makes coffee and does it well not bells and whistles needed.

I have bought several Cuisinart coffeemakers over the years and have never regretted doing so. As usual, I really like this coffeemaker, but sometimes it is very frustrating to have the water I am placing in the receptacle drip along the outside of the carafe. Luckily there has been no problem when actually pouring my coffee. Mine is a fairly minor issue, but it did effect my rating.
