The 12-Cup Progammable Coffeemaker works as described. Why buy this model? It provides the ability for you to add your favorite grind coffee and water...depress the brew button and the machine provides the magic to drip hot fresh coffee into the the unstained clear glass pitcher. The machine beeps 5 times to indicate that it is complete and ready to drink... this feature can be turned off if preferred. Additionally, this maker also has a programmable feature that works equally flawlessly. Set for the time that you prefer, pre- or post- shower in the morning or whenever your coffee time begins.

This is our 3rd Cuisinart and we love the features and price. The only reason I didn't give it a 5 star review is that the pouring spout is not the greatest. When the pot is relatively full, if you pour too quickly, it dribbles down the front and spills. As long as you pour it VERY slowly, it is fine but it is a little inconvenient. Other than that, it is a GREAT coffee maker!

Easy to use. Coffee is kept at the perfect temperature. Programing has lots of options but still simple to use. Programing light indicator can be seen with a glance. The Display is very clear and can read clock from across the room. Very happy with this purchase.
