Plenty of room in the freezer and fridge. Veggie/fruit drawers are large, as are the door shelves! Lots of room for all my groceries, and it's bright inside with several lights. Water/ice comes out easily and cold.

A good side by side refrigerator

I replaced my French door LG with the above model because I did not like the freeze on my former refrigerator. I like the freezer compartment in the Ge Model. The refrigerator part is good but not great. The inside is well organized but the plastic handles on the drawers is of inferior quality. There is only a modest size crisper for vegetables and no meat compartment with colder temperatures. There is a light that indicate when the water filter needs changing but nothing to indicate how much of the filter has been used. This should have been a part of this upscale refrigerator. Finally the stainless steel doors show ever fingerprint and very smudge . I don’t understand how GE chose the material because it is terrible to upkeep.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The water filter should be changed every 6 months and the indicator light will come on as a reminder to do so. This model offers two crispers that can be used for fruits and vegetables. The adjustable humidity drawer allows you to adjust the humidity level based on your storage needs (high humidity -sealed for vegetables or low humidity unsealed for fruits). The sealed bin is best for foods like: artichokes, celery, parsley, asparagus, peas, green onions and leeks, beets, corn, radishes, broccoli, leafy greens and more. We do value your feedback regarding the handles on the drawers and the difficulty you're having caring for the stainless finish.
