Works really well, hate the high pitched whine

I bought this 5 months ago, and it makes low, high-pitched whine when working. The noise is annoying! My old fridge did not have it. The repairman came and added a cover over the motor, which might have dampened the sound a bit, but I can still hear it. Otherwise, the fridge is working very well! Lots of storage space, no troubles. If only they could get rid of the noise.

Great fridge, but ice cream doesn't stay frozen

We love the fridge and especially the ice and water dispenser, but for some reason our ice cream consistency is a little mushy. Everything else stays frozen except for that ice cream!

Outstanding refrigerator

We purchased this 3 months ago and have been very happy. Its quiet (much quieter than the LG it replaced) and has plenty of room. Excellent lighting as well. We look forward to many trouble free years of use.

Perfect Layout

Bought this to replace a 2 year old fridge that rarely worked. This one is just what the wife wanted. Putting gallons of milk in the doors is great!! The sliding storage in the freezer makes my wife happy. This is a top notch fridge!

A REAL winner!!

It is the BEST! We replaced another brand ( only 1 month old) that kept letting ice drop out of the dispenser onto our new hardwood floors for up to an hour after dispensing ice!! It was terrible. Should have just known a GE would be better.

Big fridge, great lighting

My old fridge actually was better organized but I'm getting used to this. LED lighting is nice, adjustable shelves, are not that easy to adjust, butter door squeaks, fingerprints show up on outside, makes strange noises but doesn't bother me, fridge temp seems to be higher than the fridge indicates. First unit showed up with 2 fairly noticeable dents near the handle. Got a replacement and this one has two minor dents. Freezer holds a good amount. Overall happy with it so far. Oh and the water dispenser drips.
I would recommend this to a friend!
