Great product except for ice maker.

We had the older version of this refrigerator for 15 years and this is a big improvement in shelving and lighting. Although the actual cubic feet inside is slightly less it holds much more. The only big negative is the ice maker. It’s very slow to make ice even when the quick setting is used.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great refrigerator

We had a ge refrigerator profile for 16 years and had to replace it. We decided on another ge profile due to its great features and ease of storing. Refrigerator is very silent and has a turbo cool feature now that starts cooling real fast.

Huge ice maker. Plenty of room for side by side. Can check internal temp of fridge & freezer. Nice spill-proof adjustable shelves.

Retail store made purchase quick and easy.
Delivery onetime, and quickly efficiently installed. Total install time about 30 min. Product ran about full day to totally cool down, easy access to all shelves,especially like easy access to freezer items. Would recommend this product model to friends and family

After much research I found the profile 28 cubic foot side by side to be the best out there. I had a french door frig with freezer on the bottom that failed after only 7 years, so coming back to GE makes me feel confident its going to last. I'm also very pleased with the profile's design, the excellent LED lighting throughout, the deep door bins, the huge ice maker, and the quiet operation.

GREAT GE SIDE BY SIDE REFRIGERATOR FREEZER!

Newest GE Profile Series side by side refrigerator freezer is such an improvement over the awful french door refrigerator freezer we had! The lighting is great and so is the capacity on both sides! The shelving is much better as is the water and ice on the door! So far we all LOVE it and really, really BEST choice!!
